I really dont get your point. What does a single PG MVP prove?

For Austria:
DIV 1: C is MVP, only big men in the voting
DIV 2: 3 C, 1 PG
DIV 3: 4 C, 3 PF, 2 SF, 4 SG, 3 PG - as this is botland I think it is not represantative, so lets take a look at Italy

Italy DIV 3:
5x C, 4x PF, 0x SF, 7x SG, 0x PG

--------------

It would be interesting to see the global stats, to me it looks like MVP an award that prefers big men and shooting guards.

It just comes down to whoever has the best stats, i dont think this game has a bias towards a particular position because that would be pointless

I think that it would be a strong bias against a position that would cause it to go pointless. Well, that, or of course legendary shotblocking.

My league: PG
First Slovenian league: PG
Four II. Slovenian leagues: PG, SG, PF and C

Yes it would be interesting to see the global stats, but so far it seems like MVP has to do eveything with stats that "count" - so if the player's stats in rebounding, passing or shooting is boosted, then he has a great chance to be a MVP. A confirmation of this is also less SFs as MVPs - they don't have any particularly developed skill such as PGs (passing), SGs (shooting) or big men (rebounding), but do a lot of things decently compared to specialized players.

Maybe there isn't that many PGs as MVPs because Passing and Offensive flow has been neglected for far too many seasons, while big men and shooting on SGs have been extensively trained. Maybe this will change in few seasons.

In our league the same PF wins MVP second year in a row. He's grossly underpaid, earning just over 13k.

Not necesarilly. Perhaps the coach overplays him or focus the offense on him (or doesn't have a good bench), but other temas (like myself) prefer to rotate players to keep them rested and with a nice game shape.

MVP is a nice touch, but winning the league is what matters.
