sigh, let's recap. you said:
Players with high levels of experience tend to perform at a good level.

i said only that you're "way overrating experience IMO". You then respond by claiming that 2 of my old guys "seem to disprove that", because they perform better than you think they should.

So using your logic, I gave you an example of a different player on my team.... one with half the salary & much lower experience -- performing as well as the very example you used!!! I asked you to explain that. (but you never did)

I don't think you can include any games with lucky fans.

Why I showed you a lucky fan game: It was a game between players of very similar skill levels. The only major difference being experience. 12-13 levels difference, which is certainly extreme. Now if guys with sensational-tremendous experience & high enthusiasm can't even outplay lucky fans... what does that tell you about experience? (note: in case you didn't know, lucky fans have atrocious skills).

Tell me if you get the difference between the following:
#1: Random players are doing better than expected. They happen to have high experience. Therefore, it must be because of experience.
#2: Having repeated matchups between equally skilled players, with the only real variable being experience. The experienced players fail to significantly outperform inexperienced players game after game. Therefore, experience must not matter as much as many believe.

Look, I'm not going to spend time compiling you a report, or summarizing a bunch of data for you. Either believe me when i say you're overrating experience or don't. This isn't a public referendum or anything. I gain nothing from convincing you & I really don't care to get in an argument over it.

Looking at my roster. I'm going to wait for Buzlaga to recover, going to pick up another player off TL soon, a Center/PF player.

What should my concerns be right now? Power, Jung, and Guangbang are the ones whom receive training. I am mildly concerned about only having 3 8ishk salary guys, and then the 3 backups all around 4500-5200 salary. But, I am 9-1 manage my GS and Enthusiasm quite well. My arena at next expansion will be in "3" days putting me at 6k, 500, 75, 0 for seating.

I know I need to get some luxury boxes on next expansion. But what should I be worried about...

Getting 4 luxury boxes... selling the 1 guy... picked up 2 guys to replace him basically... 1 got injured immediately...
10-1 now. What should be my concerns.....?

Out of curiosity, do you find that your merchandise increase is enough to cover all those marginal players, if that is why you're keeping them.

I can't imagine that the merchandise for the 11 extremely low salary players combined would be enough to buy a beer. But likewise, those 11 players' salary combines to a very low amount (roughly 7500, give or take maybe a couple hundred) and so wouldn't trouble the economy of nearly any team, let alone one in the NBBA.

Hey, who *doesn't* want a sour urine, i mean a Sourpis, jersey??? (18733826) Or a glass of David Merlot? (10282407) And it was a 14,000 fan sellout to watch my 40 and older PL game! (More than 10inch Vertical has drawn all of this season!)

You're right, the money for the worst of them is a drop in the bucket. However... Since D2, i've probably spent $50k+ per week on players 11-26. I guess I can make a case for the first couple being worth it.... but there's still like $25k per week in dead weight. Still, it's great fun facing all the serious, by-the-numbers, try hard teams while i'm doing everything "wrong". (under 10k arena when i got to the NBBA, massive roster, etc..)

Pure imagionation. A lucky fan is the worst player you can field, no contest.

Not so fast... I believe we have a contest on our hands!!!!

Still, it's great fun

Isn't that why we're all here?! :)

That's why I still miss BrainBusters (if I remember the name correctly). I don't think he ever got out of Div. 5.
