probably will not make our U21 NT

Disagree.. potential doesn't really come into play for the U21, at least not nearly as much as it would for the NT. With an allstar he has plenty of potential to train the guy, and not cap before he is 21..

:D I didn't want to open a new thread because I thought this one was a general debate on training players, anyway you could hear some useful advice too I hope from these guys that answered me.

I bought today another player who has similar skills build, so as to train them together (26739538)
here are the skills
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: pitiful Handling: average
Driving: respectable Passing: awful
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: awful Free Throw: awful
I will try to find a lvl 5 trainer until Friday, if I fail I will just buy a lvl 4.

Hi,

sorry, I didn't read all the answers to your post and maybe someone posted something similar, but here it goes:

2 weeks of ID
2 weeks of RB
1 week of IS
1 week of 1 on 1 for SF/PF

Train like this until his ID and RB are 13, then train 1 on 1 for SF/PF only. He should reach his potential before end of his 21 years. IS and ID should be trained one positon (for C and not for C/PF). He should get 48 minutes per week on trained position.
