That's some serious cash. I'm certainly making money, but not that kind of money. This doesn't look like the season for me to make a run though. The question is whether I can stay up with this squad...

I think you have a pretty good team. You're just missing a few pieces in my opinion. My team could have easily been at least a .500 team if i had kept my team that i won my IV. league with but I am really excited about my two SF trainees (One is bound to make the U21 team).

On another topic: Do you think that New North Star has given up this season? They are probably the best 0-7 team in the USA right now i think but right now it looks like he threw his game because he is losing 52-9...

Yeah, I'm missing a couple pieces really. There's one glaring hole, and I might add another. If I was even at the league average in salary by adding a strong center, I'd stroll to a playoff run. Seasons occur where it's better to sit back. Really, I'm hoping my patience holds to sit back next season too. Unless the league is looking really weak, I'm better off getting my better trainees to 25 years old before investing in the rest of the squad. If things go south this season, or if I get the right skill pops, I could also sell those guys off and demote. By the time the next crop is ready, I'd have some serious bank.

I'm trying to pull a Pacers from last night and go garbage early to throw away a huge lead.

With losses to #1 and #2, we've got a new #1 this week! And he's actually built himself a nice little cushion with his team ratings, which are considerably higher than the rest of the league. I've divided the teams into cute little categories this week, so enjoy!

It is my opinion that your team is still #1. You threw an important game and the ratings faithfully reflect the effect.

The interesting thing is both of us have a "better" interleague schedule. Unless those unpredictable cup games bring huge difference, I will not expect I am able to overcome that 40 points difference during this month.

Yea I wasn't thrilled with benching my starters in that one. But, with a reasonably tough Cup match (strong D4 team who I anticipate a CT from), and without a home game following it, my game with the Hawks wasn't as important as it may have seemed. I was actually pretty happy I only lost by what I did.

It's nice of you to say, but I still put myself in third right now. Team Ratings reflect that right now, and I am certainly way behind in terms of salary. The big 8 is once again brutal, and Eclypze is sitting back there with a ton of salary, too. Things aren't getting any easier.

That round shook things up a bit...some big wins and some big losses. The Officials had a big win, but it looks like they've got a couple tough weeks ahead now. The left side midtable fight is getting interesting.
