There is often no problem with taking a good shot early in the clock. The Celtics did it all the time this season. You're not going to make it all the time, but what's the use of working off 20 seconds of clock and getting a worse look.

And an open 3-pointer by Peja is as good as you can get. Now, a 15-footer by Ben Wallace is a different story...

Yep! But you always should have one good shooter to make a try. When stats are under 10% there is no sence to even try it.
