i wanted to do all homegrown, but i couldn't deal with the absence of any future. of my original squad, i kept about four or five, trainees with quite limited potential, and bought cheap (and very modestly talented) Utopians off the TL aged between 24 and 28 or so. these imports are my starters. i spent less than $37,000 to do this.

i would have thought this is not the recipe for success, but somehow i am only a game behind the conference leader with a bunch of home games against key opponents the last third of the season. my success says a lot about my league, i guess.

. If someone can show me one, that would be nice. With 70+ leagues, there should be some with 50+, 100+ and 150+ messages.

It seems like Utopia managers are active for their teams, but not that much on the forum, at least from my point of view.

In my league there hasn't been one single post.

Wow thats alarming...

It just goes to show people are not really interested in getting to know each other.

In my opinion, the main problem is the different languages in the league. And often people are not willing to to communicate in a language which is understandable (preferable english). And it is not great fun to put everything in Google translator to understand other guys, just to see that they are just interested or able to write with other nationalities.

Hell Ya - We are coming from the North to conquer your arena ...

I could do that. But I think we're two of the only three people talking in the forum as is.

Do it. I love big bull men.

Hrudey and I have a MCT agreement, it's our way of showing respect for each other.

Is anyone else trying out a homegrown team, as in ZERO player transfers (besides selling)?

All my players are from Utopia, the only player I bought was a utopia one cause I had my two 3 injured and the other ones were too bad.
And the most pleasant is that I'm not the last , and have win the 6th tonight Only by training my guys ...
But we are very few, I think, with 100% utopian players ...
