those players should automatically retire in the offseason

I agree with that too. I think I said in another thread that it made no sense that useful players retire and old has beens or never weres are still available. Particularly, though not solely, because some newer users might not realise the risk of greatly overpaying for that kind of player.

I've read a lot of blame about blaming Utopia for the skyrocketing prices...however...
I'm searching for Utopian players on the TL, and they are mostly under age 24 and above Star potential (mostly)

Utopia managers are buying Slovenian players. So if I want to buy certain Slovenian player, I must outbid more teams now then in past.

If a player is good or what someone is looking for, then users will buy them. I'm sure Slovenian players have been purchased by USA, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, and France managers. Are they all the reason you have to bid more?

And no one from div I, II or even III will purchase them to train since they are painfully low skilled to start training them...

So it need to be done by civ IV and V teams to grow up them 2 or 3 seasons before then can make the jump...

And of course thos IV and V divisions are so full with active players... everywhere around the globe...

For now, you have to outbid roughly 20k other teams. In the past, we had 50k teams and always had more than now (unless very first year of BB). So, Utopia doesn't take the bread out of your mouth, more than foreigners teams were before.

You clearly have no idea how BB work? Which is kinda sad for GM...

Utopia managers have two teams. And many managers from Slovenia love to have Slovenian players. So Utopia teams are stealing young players from low divison teams.

And 50k/20k argument... Again, you have no idea how BB work? Which is kinda sad for GM...

More teams (not Utopia) will produce more Slovenian players on market. Its that simple.

EDIT: Also: Lower amount of active players (~20k) reduced number of young players from certain country on market. At same time Utopia was created. Now you have less Slovenian players (or French, whatever) on market. So lower divison teams have hard time buying young players when they are competing vs other managers plus Utopia farms...

And yes, Slovenian top team managers are buying young Slovenian players with their Utopia teams and train them for U-21 on NT.

So tell me how exactly I have more options now? I think I had more options in 4th season when I created my 1st team... Atleast back then potential didnt matter and I had to outbid only actual teams (instead farms).
