I Believe That We didn't log on for a while because life got in the way and as a result lost a lot of money and are now tanking and training new guys to try and get a new team in a year or two because I'm still busy and don't care much about the game but don't wanna go bot especially since I now have 9 million dollars after selling all my guys

I think that exceeds the character limit for team name. Better just leave it as is.

With all apologies to Dusty Rhodes, its the return of the legendary Saturday nights at the Coliseum as you can kick off your BIG GAME weekend with the Generals facing off against their old nemesis Deronimo. Tickets starting from only $10!!!!

Then again when it comes to the Generals history in this fixture, another Dusty promo comes to mind.

First off...hope you enjoyed that SI vault link.

Down 3..... Final possesion....and one of your hacks drew a non shooting foul as time expired... hometown fans went full on ballistic as beer bottles and drink cups went flying... Let's just say it was for the best your players skipped the post game shower and skiddadled to the bus

Ha I did like that story, my old roommate sent it to me as well. And that sounds about right. Make up call for fouling 2 of my dudes out.

that was no upset, thumped the Generals like a cantaloupe.
my boys are flagging a bit, but the schedule is favorable the rest of the way.

As for the overall landscape, I think there are 4 or 5 teams that have a chance to promote, but smart money is on Rocket Science. He has played the top teams very tough all year and only lost a couple upset matches. One of those was to the Clogs who are a strong dark horse candidate. They have some quality wins on the books against the same teams they will have to go through to promote. New Bedford and Deronimo are no pushovers themselves, with Cal Bulldogs and Tetrahydro having a puncher's chance, imo. The rest of the field will have to wait for next year (or several seasons later in some cases like myself).

It's funny. I'm 2-0 against Rocket Science but both were home wins, one took OT, and they held my squad under 12 points in three of the eight quarters of those two games. They're giving up the fewest PPG and not doing with with exclusively slow offenses, nor are they stuck running only a single type of offense.

New Bedford's still probably the favorite on our side, certainly as opposed to my team. I managed to win the home game again this season, but it took OT also (16-1 OT margin is weird), and I think had I not had an injury in the first game that week and been playing my usual training lineup, that would have been a win for them.
