Not sure this is possible but, if so, (and if it makes sense) a prior warning message that the price (sale)/offer (buy) may be deemed "illegal" (or however you want to call it), within the current market values.

At the same time... how about where there's no market estimation for a player's value?

In all fairness, this is a travesty

The only way this is fair is if managers who sell players for less than the market value are similarly compensated

If there is a ceiling to transactions, there must also be a floor. Otherwise you are skewing the market

As in all things, Caveat Emptor is the final word

Good idea but we should make it different.
I look at the market very offen and see strange bids on players when similar players are younger and cheaper.
And often its the only bid on the Player.
Then i Look at both Teams. Position in the League, roster, injuries , game shape, schedule.........
And sometimes i See cheating People

So the Problem is more difficilt.
Not the buying and selling prize is important! You have to Look what is on the msrket and what Do the Teams need.
And which Day you have! On sunday a 34 year old 180k Center is maybee worth 1k. On monday He coukd be worth 180k

The problem is on SUPPLY and DEMAND,the game lack of new players.Wheb i started, years ago we had 50000 users i think.
So we have to bring new players, new players more teams, more competition in transfer market, more supply in low and mid skilled players, so they prices will go down.
I search for a player to be competitive in a division full with active teams, and i find only 2-3.so the managers put them in high prices.
If there were 100+ players available then i might find what i want to lower price.
When i try to be competitive and i cant find the player i want, i am ready to spend more money for a transfer

There are already restrictions on buying high salary players based on WR. Players with low WR are already then regarded as “babies” for their own financial safety.

You keep talking about objectivity but so much of your plan leaves decision making at the subjective level. There should be far less subjective enforcement from the GM/CM/etc.
