s16 brisbane thunder won the boobie proze & were promoted to 3/6 we laughed wouldnt it be funny if naker was relegated to 3/6 and home axis won now in 2/1 #54 in oz - who was the relegated d2 team this season?

I am actually looking forward to the match up ;)

We over at III.12 do agree that III.6 is probably one of the strongest leagues in Australian and i also agree that there are a few Div II standard teams in the ranks, but we are not push overs and are looking to prove that not only III.6 are strong.

In saying that i would like to think that Myself and ACT also fit that bill of being Div II standard teams and could create some good match up's.

This could be an awesome Annual thing to setup, However we decide to do it would be awesome aswell. I am personally a fan of the following method:

1. Both Div's Select 7 teams to compete (To allow for a complete victory, no one wants a TIE with gloating rights up for grabs).
2. The order of them is done ENTIRELY statistcally. I.E. 1st is the team with most wins. In the event of even wins, PD is taken into account.
3. The orders are made known to both divisions so as time to prepare
4. ASW Challenges are made
5. Games are played
6. Winners get Gloating rights until the next ASW in season 18!!

That's a bit of a gap lol.

yeah i think you drew a short straw on that one. Hippos looks to have recently picked up a 48K sg and has got better depth across the board. You could be in for a tough night at the office.

Yeah and my trainee got injured 6 minutes into the game last night. In a scrimmage! for backup minutes! WTF

man i dunno if its RNG or if BB have changed something, but my players are getting injured a LOT this season

I've had at least 5-6 injuries - most of them were only injuries in-game, they recovered after the game (lazy buggers), but I've had two that have been injured after the game, one guy for a week, and the most painful one, my SG out for 2 weeks during a very crucial game :S

I've had more injuries this half season then I've had in my whole BB career!

Wow I totally didn't realise these games were going to be decided on who used to be in III.6....

There seems to be a lot of DII teams talking smack on this forum, you guys are only going to live through this one vicariously anyway.. Sorry to break it too ya :)

Bring it III.6, whilst I may have been dealt Naker I won't discount myself as an outside chance!

Last season I lost my PG for two weeks, my C and most expensive for three (was in effect five by the time his GS recovered) and my SF (and most effective player) for two (but was also in effect out of action for four). That was the end of the season, so many losses but without 2 1/2 starters I just wasn't as good as the other teams in my league, which was a pity because I had an expensive roster with players I liked and didn't want to get rid of.

Oh yeah did I mention that my 21 year old trainee on the Aussie U21 team got a two week injury last saturday, still listed at two weeks six days later, so that could be the end of his U21 career. That sucks just a tiny little bit!

oh damn man...you have awful luck! I feel for ya!

But hey, look on the bright side.. despite all those problems you survived in Div2! That is a great accomplishment!
