However people that may not have been there from the start will have trouble following the nicknames.

Perhaps a Legend at the start of the post with all the nicknames you've used will make it easier for those peopl

While we wait for Sid's or someone else to do a report the result was we lost with Indonesia putting more into the game then our team. Our group for the nest stage looks to include China, Hong Kong (the 2 teams to beat) New Zealand, Iran and Pakistan.

Looking forward to seeing the draw for the nest stage. Thanks to all the managers for training their players and keeping them in good gameshape.

Groups and draw are up and we have got China, Hong Kong and Iran in our group along with New Zealand and Pakistan.
We beat Iran in our group so providing we can beat them and NZ and Pakistan we will need to knock off China or HK to make the semi finals.

Line up for 1st game for the 2nd Pool round is up on offsite forum.
A couple of players with gameshape issues but we can still field a strong side.

Big win over Pakistan last night. Even with Tic Tac and The Duke both being on the drink before the game.

More to come on this match.

New week we get a visit from across the ditch with New Zealand being our 2nd game before a big couple of games with Hong Kong and China after that.

Apologies guys, Im back up country being a carer again and dont have reliable access to the internet.

I also have a huge project that I have to get done which is going to occupy me for the next few weeks when Im not looking after my folks.

Might be a couple of weeks before I have time and internet access to be able to spend the 3 hours it takes me to write up a game summary.

Would like to hear more about Tic Tac leading the poor old Duke astray on the turps though if anyone has the time

Well done to all the managers. All players strong or proficient game shape.
Put a possible side on offsite forum for discussion. After this coming game we have the 2 top sides in group and need to win one at least to make the semis.

Also if you have a 20 year old you think has what it takes to be in next seasons side please send me their current skills. Or if you have done so recently to the mentor for their position do so again.
