Obviously, they'd still be available for the U21s, but the NT manager would give the 18-21yr old MVP pot or better players training advice, not the U21 manager.

Not really high on the tracking list, but could be a good 2nd trainee for someone training guards.

he could quite readily be turned into a PG with no JR. And with perennial all star potential and a lack of JR to contribute to salary, i bet you could get a fair bit of OD, HA and PA on him

JR is "free" for PG's, right?

I agree, for the U21 JR is maybe acceptable, but for the NT i would never select a guard with less than 9 or 10 JR...

you guys are all right, i was just thinking there probably is a good domestic player in there with some JR training (which youd need for some guard trainees anyway even if they start at respectable) then a focus on PG skills. after all he is already blessed with some good guards skills to start with.

its a shame JR is fairly slow to train and its not easy to accomodate if your other trainees are on top of their JS already too

hypothetically, what would the best 80k-100k salary PG with 5 JR look like? would they do ok as a sub PG in the EBL or would the low JR be too much of a let down?

EDIT:
Just did quick bit of research.

JS/JR/OD/HA/DR/PA/IS/ID/RB/SB

OK so
15/6/16/18/18/12/2/5/7/7 is 80k salary
18/6/16/17/19/12/3/4/6/2 is 70k salary
14/7/16/13/14/15/2/8/7/4 is 75k salary

JR at this level too much of a liability? i am wondering whether without better passing (which i guess adds a lot more to salary) a good defence will leave the PG driving or shooting more than is good for the team

for a backup this might work, but for a starter i think the 16OD in the EBBL is as big as a problem as the 6 JR is.

that is my opinion though
