Now the teams that finish 5, have advantatge over those who finish 4 or 3(normally the team with HCA wins) and i've seen some managers giving up some games to finish 5(which is not good for the competition).

I would like to see all those managers claiming that finishing 5 was a disaster( f.e. forum sugestions), explaining now why finishing 5th it's better than finishing 4 or 3rd. Did anyone think about the consequences of this change before introducing it?

When it's about economy, this game normally fails.

PD: Forgot to say that i also saw some teams that finished in 5th position, signing players with high salarys(centers) just to make day-trading and benefit from this change...

I think of all discussions at both salary systems old and new which rank is more profitable than the others. I think it could be designed so that higher rank is always more profitable.
My suggestion for system which could work starting from next season playoff:
1) no team will pay salaries during the last 2 weeks of the season (as it's designed for 5th and 8th at the moment)
2) no attendance money for playoff and relegation games
3) prize money (similar for system in B3 and cup games) for winning quarterfinal, semifinal, final (just for winning title not for every win in final series), the only question is, how high it should be and if it should different for different league levels (in my eyes it should be dependent in league level)
4) no prize money for winning relegation series
5) another reduction of TV money to compansate less expenses for salaries

6) eventually some small prize money should be for final rank in regular season, so that it make difference between 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th (as 6th has one training game more than 5th)

Edit (after CrazyEye point)
7) transfer deadline for playoff should be 2 weeks earling than it's now

like it
Edit: i would like to have an earlier PO deadline then, because else you could buy salary monsters without salary.

Good point with salaries. 2 weeks earliers should be enough comparing to current deadline. But monster tricks are also discussed from other points of view in some other threads.

I made interesting estimate of attendance income, wage bills and profit/loss from attendace/wage for Big 8 in Czech Div I (I expect home win for quarter final and semifinal, I can recalculate it after the playoff and show real numbers):

1) BC Hostivař
wages 2 595 754 (1 297 877 per week)
attendance 1 890 000 (1 470 000 for just 2 final games)
lost -705 754 (and even -1 125 754 for final in 2 games)
2) Flumpaci
wages 905 951
attendance 620 000
lost -285 951
3) Planet Express
wages 532 167
attendance 205 000
lost -327 167
4) KINGZABA BLANSKO
wages 616 467
attendance 210 000
lost -406 467
5) BK Psions
wages 0 (usual weekly 560 112)
attendance 0
profit/lost 0
6) Wix Twix
wages 1 222 928 (611 464 without TB)
attendance 800 000 (480 000 without TB)
lost -422 928 (without TB -131 464)
7) Nightwalkers
wages 847 778 (423 889 without TB)
attendance 596 000 (438 000 without TB)
lost -251 778 without TB +14 111)
8) ABK Bohemians
wages 0 (usual weekly 427 991)
attendance 0
profit/lost 0

We can abstract for first 2 teams as they have much higher wage bill than the others, but #4 and #6 has equal wage bill, but #6 will earn much more money in next 2 weeks. #3 has lower salaries than #6 and will earn much less money ... #3 and #4 will lose money (even if they win quarterfinal and lost in away semifinal) whilst #5 is on 0.
I'm really not sure that such a huge difference will be compensated enough in next season by influence of I am pleased with the team's performance last season.

Edit: With new calculation it doesn't look as weird as before, except for 5th comparing to 3rd and 4th.

3) Planet Express
lost -859 334
4) KINGZABA BLANSKO
lost -1 022 934

lost -1 120 224
6) Wix Twix
lost -422 928 (-742 928 for series in 2)
7) Nightwalkers
lost -251 778 (-409 778 for series in 2)
8) ABK Bohemians
lost -855 982

Unfortunatelly, I didn't mention sentence Teams in a relegation series will only pay second week salaries if they end up playing a decisive game during the second week. in news before season 15, so I haven't commented it yet.
I think due to this particular rule not much changed at profitability 5th vs. 6th rank.
And in addition of whole change 5th became more profitable than 4th and 3rd.

Teams ending in 5th position receive income from TV revenue&merchandising, but they pay staff salaries.

So this is just n/c, they don't pay salaries, but they receive income? :/

EDIT:

1 team in first division(or in any division) that finish 5th can make more money than the first 4 teams... For example 1 team finshing 5th can make around 200-250k of profit in 1 week since they receive incomes.

So we are talking that a team that finish 5th makes more money than one that finished 1st or 2nd.

Why a team that finish 2nd wants to finish 2nd if the team that finish in 5 position makes more money and can abuse of day-trading since they don't pay salaries?

Last but not least, this is favouring the top teams and the unbalance between divisions.

Congratulations to this new fantastic rule.
