How about new B3 rules?
1) is there price money for each win in group play?
2) what are price money for each round in single elimination?
3) how about schedule? there are 13 weeks needed (8 group play + 5 single elimination), season has just 14
- is there still free Wednesday during allstar game?
- first round od B3 is before first league round or after second league round?
- B3 final is just between first and second league final or after the third?

So much change, so few answers...

"Each team will play 4 home and 4 away games against random opponents." How random? Could you play the same team 8 times randomly?

It's group play so it would be the same 4 teams but you play them once at home and once on the road.

I disagree, I expect group play similar to NT/U21 Consolation Tournament.

Yes, it indeed will be like the NT/U21 Consolation tournament.

Prize money for elimination rounds (final 32) will stay the same as it is now and prize money will be awarded for each win in group play.

Let me look up the answer to your schedule questions, since I'm not sure yet.

I have to say that when I saw the text that big changes were coming for the B3, I got pretty excited. I thought: maybe they were taking my suggestion to expand it into many larger international tournaments like many people (including myself) have advocated... Alas, not this time. ;-)

Anyhow, was anyone complaining about the current B3 format? Does this improve things at all?

I totally agree...It sure doesn't seem like anything is getting fixed...In fact it seems to be getting worse...

You've never participated in B3. personally I enjoy the changes. The tournament is gonna be much more interesting. Now if the top-teams are drawn in the first round - it doesn't mean one of the best teams will eliminate just because of the bad luck.
I'm saying this as a participant of B3, not as GM.
