It's just a small change of the sentence that's needed... I suggest that all U21/NT managers copy and paste every PM and forum post from users that are confused here, with name of the player/poster censored, but keep it as backup if any GM or BB wants access to it. I know that when I first saw one of my players by coincidence as he was beeing scouted some seasons ago, I was very happy initially, and then let down and a little sad. At a later point one of my foreign players was scouted for a country with not so good players and I thought he made the team, so I PM'ed the manager and asked if he had any wishes in the way I should train the player, but also this time it was only scouting. I understand fully if people misunderstand and get disappointed by finding this in the first page they see when logging in, the news section... Please change the sentence to that the player have been with a training session for the NT, and have the appointment sentence after at the daily or weekly udate.

I think that won't stop confused questions anyway.) Maybe it is a good thing and it will bring more attention to NT/u21 teams:)

that's a great idea. Change it so that they celebrate their first minute on court. Cos that's an interational debut, not being included in the development squad or whatever.

Yes, it was (107747.1). There's a lot of discussion there that should be read before anyone comments again.
Moeuf, you speak to me as an angle, and knew you would, so I made some search here and some search there, but used wrong words in my searchstring. I feel so weak when you speak to me like that - I like it now, but I'll learn to love it later ... XX 'n' ;-)

I didn't mean it meanly... I just wanted to make sure anyone posting in a new thread (not necessarily you) didn't waste anyone's time bringing up ideas that have been well-debated. (I didn't close the other one, either.)

Oh, Moeuf, hearing your voice makes me warm inside and a bit like your logo - if you see what I mean. Sparkling 'n' blur ...

Hey, I love that you brought this topic back up.

I have to say it was annoying to constantly receive BB-mails froms managers saying: "Hey, it says that my 18 year old made the U21 team but now I don't see him there. What gives?".

I agree that the announcement should either be for the player's first game or after he has been on the team for a while. Either that, or just get rid of it altogether.

I think it should be after the first game, or after a player has been on the roster for a week (monday-monday), whatever comes first. It is nice to get a heads up if a player you did not expect to make it suddenly gets a spot, or some minor country backup player gets picked up as their most important player. Perhaps you want to see the games or even give the player in question some training. But as it is now, flooding the division news, I agree it is too much information (un-useful information that is).
