the first off the bunch has come on the TL.

I hope vasco or someone else has room on their team for such a great prospect. With single position training, this guy could be an ace PF and would almost be guaranteed a spot on the U21...

I'd love to help but the OD is a deal-breaker for me. In fact, I suggest you forget about him for the U21 - he's too small fto train efficiently as a centre and that OD will make him too vulnerable at PF. He doesn't have the potential to ebcome a full NT player.
That's a real shame, if it'd just been even 5 he'd be a very trainable SF.

Hope Elliot has a better skillset to work with :-S

elliot is better... but i still think you overestimate the U21 team and the future prospects. I cant guarantee anything and for a EBBL team he might not be worth it to train. but this player can in my opinion be trained into something decent...

i have hardly seen any decent SF trainees let alone very good ones and the ones we see go for 11 million or so :)

Can you, um, change his nationality to Irish? :) I'd love to have him in our setup. Yes, the OD sucks, but I think he'd still be pretty nice at PF.

i even think that you could train him as a C with decent secondaries...

the problem I think is this, and we should all realise this. the perfect player with decent potential and good all round starts hardly ever appears. for some teams this is their only kind off player they would consider an upgrade, but if we would only train these players for the U21, we wouldnt be able to select a starting 10...

we need to have a backup starting 5 too, so I do hope someone will pick up this guy and train him...

your not understanding. There are 2 requirements for a player to go to the TL by free agent:

1) Being part of a NT
2) His salary must be at least 10k

I was just warning everyone of him, so when he goes to the TL, some English coach could buy him, so that he could stay here and be well trained.

PS to all: If I'm wrong about the 10k value, please answer here correcting me

sorry man, but you are wrong here.

it should be:

for a player to be TLed as a free agent, one of the following conditions has to be met:

either he is on a U21 or NT team, when his team goes bot. if that is the case, then he will be released to the TL, regardless of his salary

or he has a 10k+ salary (not all 10k salary guy's get released. only a certain ammout get released to the TL list)

this post was just to clear out your post. you don't need both conditions to be met. if one of them is, then he'll be TLed as a free agent.

Rev

Cartwright has NT potential, although it's long term and more as a specialist when the team need a SF with outside skills.
Sunbury looks a very good prospect for the U21s, but not the Full NT (because of his potential)

For Cartwright, you need to keep up a mix of outside shooting and pressure training (which will also suit Sunbury) and then work on his handling and driving when he's 22. The NT coach may also want more passing - but you can do that when he's older (23 or 24).

Two very good trainees who will train nicely together. Train one position and play them both in that position, starting Sunbury in the more difficult game of the week. When Sunbury hits 22, think about selling him and using the money to strengthen your team.

Hope this helps.
