Being I.1 makes a difference also.

The way I figure it, I.1 leagues are essentially the NBA.

What's the average NBA attendance?

So the difference is prob that I started only 3 games into the 1st season. IIRC, season ticket holders only updated in between seasons.

I don't think so, I think (don't quote me here) that they update as you go, but the display is only updated between seasons.

I don't think the three extra games I've had with my team make a significant difference, but rather being in I.1

I meant the difference between WFU and my team. As to the season ticket holders update, i thought i had read from from one of the BB's pointing out that it was only an offseason update, not just the presentation but the background number, as that's when you would sign up new season tix holders. Might have just misunderstood also.

Recent play really affects your bleacher attendance.

For the most part, my other three areas of seating have stayed pretty static even when my players look like retards playing Twister.

This brings up an interesting point--on a limited budget, it seems MUCH more advantageous to build courtside/luxury seats than bleachers, right? I mean, the price is essentially the same (that is, either way, it takes 20 games to recoup your expenses, or a 5% ROI per game), but bleachers are way more volatile. It seems like they should provide some advantage/incentive to balance this (maybe, cheaper to build--say, 8% ROI--but more volatile). As it stands, I've been expanding almost exclusively my lower/courtside/luxury seats.

I think that if your Arena does not have the correct balance of seats (whatever that may be, or at least within a certain variance), your attendance will eventually suffer.

Is there a correct balance of seats, like the right % of each kind of seat to maximize profit?
I'm planning to upgrade my stadium and dont have a clue what to build. Thanks for any info!

Check out my Arena.

I feel I have the right balance, but that may not be the case, of course.
