Pini, you´re missing a big point. Drafting an NBA player does not equal signing him. If you hold his draft rights, you don´t have to pay him sh**. Only if you SIGN him you owe him money. So your whole point is moot.

We do not only DRAFT players here in BB, we also SIGN them. Since we cannot reject them or hold them out, the whole proposal is based on a whole different system than in the NBA, so your nice "reality check" fails badly.

Seelenjaeger is right.

I'll repeat what already written.

1) For the first round picks the option is for the players ONLY.
The players can decide not to join that team, and go to europe or whatever (but not the NBA), but the teams has no option.
If that player decides to play in the NBA, they will need to pay him.

We do not only DRAFT players here in BB, we also SIGN them. Since we cannot reject them or hold them out, the whole proposal is based on a whole different system than in the NBA, so your nice "reality check" fails badly.

2) Here you can DRAFT and SIGN, but currently you can also just FIRE (or sell).
So that claim was also wrong and false.

In the NBA you can choose not to use your pick. You can't here. If I choose not to pick anyone I can't pay salarys aswell, right?
In the NBA, players have contract lenghts, we don't have them here, because it would be more complicated to evaluate players if they could be negotiated with and would make the game really too complex. You can't waive a player without paying his salary until his contract ends (so practically no way of getting rid of that contract, unless some other team is willing to pay it). So here you see, that not everything that works in RL can be used in an online game. It just does not suit the gaming enviroment. The sooner you get it the better.
You should really stop posting the same things over and over, your statements have no merit.

I guess I will need to repeat myself the third time...
In the NBA you MUST (again, MUST) use your first round draft pick. More precisely, you owe to pay his salary, if that player chooses to come to your team and not go to other league.
It is only in the player hands.

This has nothing to do with the suggestion, and hence will stand w/o relating to.

How can I use my first round pick in the NBA, if I have traded it to somewhere? If I don't want to draft I trade it, simple as that. See what I did there?
This has nothing to do with the suggestion, and hence will stand w/o relating to.
So if it's not a suggestion, but is different in real life and does not work in the game, it's not relevant? Nice going. This suggestion sucks, like most of your suggestions.

If you traded your player, it means that he was good, or that you paid for that by something else. So anyway you have paid for that draft pick.

This has nothing to do with the suggestion, and hence will stand w/o relating to.

And still this claim has nothing to do with this suggestion, and hence will keep being ignored...

Pini, you´re simply wrong. You must exercise your pick, but you do not have to sign him. The contract once signed is guaranteed, but it´s not like the player picks or picks not whether he has to be signed. Plain wrong.

Pini, you don't realise that this is not going to happen.

No trades allowed in this game, hence we can't force people to keep the draft picks. There you go.
