Atleast I can't get screwed in PL again. Last time this happened I played with initial (7) game shape, while my opponent already had the training and game shape change. This lost me a tight game. This time my opponent is luckily from my own country!:P

Just for completeness sake, same issue here in USA (which I think has one of the last training updates on the schedule). So let's call it a global problem.

Offseason processing is still in progress which means that the site might perform a bit slower at times. Thank you for your patience.

Very much doubt this...

I really doubt that offseaon processing is still going on. We are two games into the season and the first game of the cup is finished. So how can the offseason processing still be going on?

Agreed. I think it's been used as an excuse. LOADS of server issues occurring at the moment too.

i disagree here. We're talking about a site that has got 50k users ( it's more that that, but let's make it easy using rounded numbers). Each team needs to draft 3 players, which takes up alot of time. That time should be multiplied by 4 (considering that each team has 12 players) for the salary update. Then, TV rights have to be calculated, you got the stat sheets that need to be updated ( and the newly released one demands alot of processing time, so updating that one will take even more time) and while all that is done, BB continues it's usual chores.

The game is ever expanding, adding new things, which adds to the workload off the servers. So it's only normal that the offseason processing gets longer each time. Last season, it was done just prior to the second game of the season if i recall correctly. So considering all the new things that were added, with the ever growing community it's only natural that things take longer. For those who dare say: buy better servers, better servers mean that you need to pay more to have em, and the money has to come from somewhere...

Best thing to do is just to be patient, and let the BB's work on solving the problem by themselves. Giving comments about how BB ain't working good enough, won't make things solve faster.

Patience is a virtue after all...

You are very lucky guy. You had big chance to play two matches with the same conditions (game shape, skills). It's fantastic opportunity to make interesting tests and to explore game engine. Always look on the bright side of life.

You're welcome to disagree... but I disagree with your disagreement! Especially in light of this comment:

It's taking a bit too long for my taste, but hopefully, it will be over soon.

Additionally, a rather famous football managerial game with significantly large numbers manages to do it very smoothly.

Mmmm... 'k. What "new things" are added, beyond a few additions to the stats page? Honestly curious.

This is true. However, when things aren't working correctly, it's not necessarily a bad thing to state "things aren't working as they should", and ask legitimate questions. Perhaps there's a bug, perhaps it's a localized issue. Silence won't solve those things at all.

Are you joking? People have to pay to get better product? Users do not make money from this game. Users are just customers. Customers want to buy good products. Producers of the game should be interested in investing in your product and develop it to attract customers. Customers (users) can always find a different product. Such is the law of the market;-)
