Like I said...I have never had a player prematurely CAP....And what was shown to me....an old Per. Allstar that had high sub-levels in everything. And the owner said that he hadn't popped in this many trainings...how do I know that was true. Maybe he gave up too early. I have a 28 yr old MVP and it took 6 weeks for his OD to pop, what if I had stopped at 5 weeks and said...My MVP NT player is capped and he isn't up to his potential yet..OMG he has a low sub-level on his MVP. So what if I would have done that, would that have been a so called LEARNED FACT? I bet if he would have kept training that dude he would have popped. And he wouldn't have been on the forums crying about his guy capping.
BTW....Potential having sub-levels is a hypothesis that someone came up with. Like I said, in season 10, it was widely excepted that potential was a fixed # and when the soft cap is reached it slows down.
I understand you may be gathering INFORMATION but learning facts, that is silly to say. What's next? Am I going to be expecting 4 pops next week and when I only get 2, can I say that my level 7 trainer must have a low sub-level because I got less pops than I expected? Maybe after two weeks I will post in the forums how Staff must have sub-levels because of these FACTS that I learned which point in this direction. Hahahahaha!! I will wait until a BB states the FACTS about sub-levels on potential.

Just one thing on the speed of ups: have you guys taken aspiration and height into account (as well as sublevels, unknown for rookies or recently bought players) ? Moreover is the rapidity based on the same ups, say from 10 to 11, or just an any up, from 1 to 2 for one guy and 16 to 17 for another ?
Just to be clear.

Coming back to the sublevels, I mailed BB-Marin, maybe he will provide a quick answer that I can copy paste here.

One season a guy gets 10 pops and the next season he gets one. Fairly clear that he has capped whatever his height is. This happens to allstars at about age 21 or 22.

Would it really hurt for a BB to step here and confirm or deny whether there are sublevels on potential?
Would it really spoil the game? Would it ruin the fun?

As if people who want to train don't get "punished" enough with losing games to train off-position, losing money from attendances, losing money from staff, not training properly with random subs that prevent reaching 48 minutes, injuries, random stamina drops...

After 25 seasons that managers blindly train, it wouldn't be fair at least for a BB to confirm or not if there are sublevels?

BBs also rarely (ok, probably never) come in the Help section.

That's not something for the BBs to be proud of. It's like a company doesn't have a customer care department.

Not mentioning the disrespect for people in forums that pretty much keep the game alive.

Hell, we're asking if potential has sublevels, not revealing the source code of match engine.

Since Joey (better known as Josef) Ka said that potential had sublevels there is no reason to ask BBs...

I guess I shouldn't write this here since BBs never write in the Help forum

Let's clear this up once and for all:
1. staff levels don't have sublevels
2. potential levels DO have sublevels

If you guys have a straightforward question like this that is basis for a long debate, feel free to BB-mail me and you'll get your answer. I do apologize for not reading the Help forum consistently, but I'm just one guy and I'd rather spend my time coding than reading the forums, so I hope you understand.

One note though; some things aren't supposed to be known. In this case, that's not the case, but I just wanted to emphasize that.
