And, lucky for me this round

RedDevilz: You will stay up if you beat ElectroLockz in coming game....

Another scalp for Ghostbusters. Also, Terfu has been relegated. My bad :P

I was lucky yesterday to win KJK match, he keep the best players

won't be easy to beat Electrolockz, they are strong enough to beat me if in form...

I would say Electrolockz, Ghostbuster, your team & mine are in same category...is always 50/50

Ampang Stuporsonics, a true legendary team is gone

This is a sad season, Ampang Stuporsonics left us to be replaced by a computer! Ampang Stuporsonics was a legendary team with 436 wins in MBBA, it was the team with the most seasons in MBBA (28) in other words, it was the only team to be in MBBA since its creation in season 3. During that time, Ampang Stuporsonics won more than 70% of their games!

It was the first team to win the MBBA league and won 7 more league titles after that. They also won 5 national cups.

he'll still be on our FB group to spam off and on :)

This is his message to the community, for those who are not in FB group. (WHICH YOU SHOULD BE! ;) )

Hey everyone, it's been awhile. I was putting off writing this until the Ampang Supersonics went bot. And I guess today is the day.

I have been on and off BB for quite a while now, mostly off even when I am on. This decision would mean I will be permanently off. It was not a decision taken lightly, not after a career spanning 8 years if memory serves me right. All the way back to Malaysia's first season in season 3. And it is rather poignant that season 30 marks the end of the road for me in BB.

I have a lot to say. Even more to write about. But it is probably better if I broke it up into smaller bits and pieces to keep the focus on.

Why?

I thought about it and I guess it would be safe to say that my interest is elsewhere. It does not help that my work schedule occassionally compromises my plans in BB, the last Championship run was a case in point. When interest and schedule don't meet, it gets complicated. You need sustained focus over an extended period of time to achieve a target in BB which is no longer something I can offer. The past few seasons have just been 'there', on autopilot and keeping teams with more enthusiasm and drive out of the MBBA. I guess it is a case of burnout, and being somewhat disillusioned...if I may use that word.

Reflecting back, there are a lot of things to talk about. I loved the way the first Malaysian teams bandied together and gave early structure to how the country would be run. I loved the uncertainty back then on how the game would evolve and how the Game Engine worked. I loved the experimentation and research, then exploiting it for personal results. I felt proud to groom a player who would not just measure up against the best in the country, but the world. He remains one of the, if not THE, highest capped NT player in the world and one of the first players to reach legendary experience.
Regrets, I have a few. Mostly it revolves around not making a serious plan and push for the B3 during the early days. Procrastination really kills ambition, "Ah, in another 2 seasons". Best I could muster was the last 16 in B3, which probably should have been better.

My time is over. Your time is now.

It is time to join some familiar teams in the pages of Buzzerbeater's past. Boombastic, Malaysia's first MBBA winner. Arowana Kings, such a competitive rival in the MBBA and ex-NT manager. KMC RA. Shohoku Basketball. It's been a fun run for me.
Do drop me any questions you have, or always wanted to ask. I am a free agent.

Thank you for copying the Facebook message here. However, he did a mistake, he is the first MBBA winner, Boombastic was the first cup winner. 8 years is a long time and Ampang Stuporsonics deserves our deep respect for becoming one of the most important teams in Malaysia BuzzerBeater history.

Now, it will be very important to finish #6 and not #7 in Big 8.

Just to clarify, I closed my Facebook account and don't want to re-use it for ethics reasons. I did the same with Google and Microsoft.
