Yes, it was a good game! I'm proud of my players and a bit disappointed about the terrible 3rd quarter. Philippines is better and deserve the win but I regret us not scoring a few 3 pointers to make it a close game. It doesn't matter, we will try to beat Singapore and Indonesia to finish 3rd.

He is on my "not so short" list and I recorded his skills in mid January, unless he had been very well trained all season long, I don't think he will be good enough to join the U21 NT. If you believe he could be good enough, just send me his skills in a private message.

After a loss against Singapore, we are going to take on Indonesia.

The loss against Singapore was somehow understandable, they were playing at home and have a good looking team this season. What is "funny" is that we lost 58-76, the exact same score they Indonesia. The Indonesians are our next opponents and most knowledgeable people predict a close game, with the same number of wins (1) and losses (2), Indonesia and Malaysia share the 4th rank of the group. In terms of NT rankings, Malaysia is ranked #38 while Indonesia is ranked #36, every point out to close game. If Indonesia looks better inside with their big 4 (4 inside players with salary above $20k), the outside game should be dominated by Malaysia despite the young (20yo) Indonesian PG Dista Marjuki.

In others words, Indonesia-Malaysia will be a game to watch!

The last game of the season will see us facing China, the best team of the group. Without any expectations, we will play for fun.

Our big win against Indonesia came as a surprise but most players have been well trained and their GSs were very good. Even our subs managed to play at the same level as Indonesian starters during the 4th quarter.

Season 30 summary

This summary comes late and I'm sorry about that but here is what we did the past season.

The first round saw us finishing at the 4th place behind China, Taiwan and Australia. With 3 easy wins against UAE, Vietnam and South Korea. We did what we had to do and can only notice the good offensive performance against UAE (144 points scored).

For the second round, we started with a huge win against Japan (+51) then a short loss against Philippines (-16 but all in the third quarter). Our neighbors from Singapore beat us easily (+18) being at home and having a great team this season (they managed to reach the semi-finals). The game which made our season a good one was the game against Indonesia, we were supposed to be matching them quite well and everyone expected a close game but we won by 38! Everything went our way. This win guaranteed us the 4th place of the group behind China, Singapore and Philippines.

In the end, we ended up being at the world rank #33, the best rank we had in years (we started the season being #49). Last time we managed to enter the top30 was back in season 21 and we can expect to do it again next season thanks to a successful season.
