Well if anybody can do it wont that take the fun of competing and the game itself. Not anybody can do it the one who wants to take time out from his team and focus on training and building his squad for the future knowing its a long term process and money is going to suffer for idk how long.
You are seriously arguing that fielding a team below the salary floor requires any skill?

But in the end if you get 1st round draft picks number 1 every so often it will eventually come to glamour.
Dude you have you ever done any draft scouting in your BB career? I don't think so. There are entire drafts with 0 (ZERO) players with potential of 9 or more. So even if you do get 56 scouting points per season, even if you used them perfectly and you luck out in identifying the best prospects, it's entirely possible that you will end up with subpar draftees.

You do have to have some skill to tank and keep minutes up each week while you train your team for the future right? No brain?
Tanking by definition does not involve winning. If you don't plan to win then you don't really need to manage anything. Anybody can tank: you could sell or fire most of your players and you'd be perfectly set to tank.

Good luck with your project.

a long term strategy must consider possible promotions or relegations, i don't agree that if you win a league your team is already to compete in the upper level. you have to spend money to do that and sometimes this isn't enough to not stay in the bottom that means 1 season and half of bad attendance, for that reason i think promotion is something to plan carefully and repechages interfere with this.
but what worries me more is that losers get same result of the winner and i find this is a little unfair.

you guys keep repeating this, but it's widely known that your revenues are extremely high after a promotion, even if you were to tank.
Bottom line if you have the chance, promote. Even by doing nothing at all you will make a ton of money the following season.

The only cases where you might want to plan are:
- your arena is so small that you will sell out bleachers and lower tier at maximum price
- you're promotinh into D1. The difference there is quite large and you might not be able to promote back that easily if you demote

losers get same result of the winner and i find this is a little unfair
They don't. I haven't checked the last 2 results but none of the losers in the Finals should promote at all in D3 Utopia this season. You only promote without winning the Finals if you won your conference and you had a very good record (18-4, 19-3 and better).

Even then those who promote via bot promotion will receive a much smaller promotion bonus to ticket sales the following season, so it's not the same at all.

Thank you very much, that honors me.

Je vous remercie beaucoup, qui me honore. Français à l'école était difficile, même si nous parlons français en Suisse...
