I think Steel has a formula that is probably popular with BB paid supporters. Win now with some already developed guys while training then selling all those youngsters. It helps he plays in private leagues too. He can train twice as many youngsters as a regular player can. Of course, we can debate how well it works since he relegated, but there's no debate he's not got a D3 club.

Now I can train and sell too, but my returns will be half what he makes. I believe my best bet is to keep growing my arena. That's how I'll get my cash to compete.

No doubt the Great 8 is a tougher conference. Most of the promoted champs have come from that side, so most relegated clubs have joined over there to go along with some already strong clubs (Pacers, Sharks, Eagles).

Being a paid subscriber and able to play in private games will not give any more minutes to players being trained. Nor will they be injured if they get injured during the private match. Atleast from what I read a few weeks ago. But yes...im sure alot of managers train up their young guys and make huge profits. I've done it a few times but lately I'm just training bigs...centers and pfs. May go after a Sg in the draft and combine him with my bigs next season. I'm probably no different than anyone else. I'm AM keeping a few of my young guys and will eventually sale off some trainees after they grow some for profits to invest in arena or another big time player that will be with my team for awhile. I've had a loaded roster that almost put me in division 3 but all my guys were old and loosing they're skills....it's a hell of alot more interesting building my own team up.
I may be wrong about the extra minutes from privey matches but I understood it to basically challenge your best line ups for bragging rights lol

This season I'm training 5 or 6 players 2 position training mainly inside....but this week training js forwards on just 3 guys but it's only 1 position training. Because of the short week. Love to train 1 position center for 3 bigs but I have about 2 or 3 more that I want to grow. It's definitely a challenge and sometimes ya just have to take a loss rather than lose training time. I'm still a few seasons away from being competitive.

BUT....I most definitely enjoy the competition in this league win or lose. Agreed that the big 8 is always getting fantastic relegated teams making it a new task every season. I sincerely hope this league stays competitive rather through building or filing your roster with veterans or a combination of both. JUST STAY ACTIVE and enjoy the challenges this game offers.

WOW! 5 pops? I had a 19 yr old that didn't pop for awhile then he popped 3 couple weeks ago. My question is how he popped on a Monday? It's usually Friday after training.

Does anybody know how I can get a utopia team? Or has that feature expired....I'm not a supporter but have been in the past. Do I need to be a supporter first?

Getting a Utopia team should have an option under supporter, but no you don't need supporter first :)
