With VT at 2-4 in the ACC with 2 home losses (plus no good non conference wins) the UNC game might be must won tomorrow. Hopefully it goes the way of Deronimo/Greensboro...

As Dean Smith used to say, if it's an @ it ain't an upset. And I know the crowd will be stoked. Your boys can fill it up but have been lackadaisical on defense. Carolina has some defensive deficiencies as well. So I see a high scoring affair which in the end plays to the Heels strength. Nip and tuck throughout, but it has been that way for my boys all season, I say UNC 85 VPI 81

Opening: a collage of images from various teams.
Announcer: as the first phase of the season comes to it's conclusion the championship chase slowly starts to come into focus, though there is still plenty of opportunity for the winning waters to be clouded.

Tonight our cameras will focus upon Nasty Arena where New Bedford seeks to snap a three game skid with rival Atlanta paying a visit.

Deronimo seeks to keep pace with the Spartans though the Bunnies would like nothing better than to play spoiler.

Harrisburg and the Claws come together in a battle between teams in dire need of a victory.

Ladson and Cal both have righted the ship after 0-3 starts. Now tonight they clash with both teams needing a win for position in the upper division.

The Generals also are in that fight but with the Exiles invading the Coliseum and a tricky third round draw things could get worse in the 'Boro before it gets better.

Game winners seeks to get back on track whilst the visiting kitties are trying to keep pace for top honors in club red

Same goes for the Mavs and blizzards

And Sparty seeks a road win to keep pace with Deronimo while the hosting shocks are searching for something to hold on to

Wow that third quarter KILLED me, I'm watching the game one second and I have a double digit lead, I check the game a little later and my team has given up over 40 points in a quarter and we're losing !

Announcer: As the slaughterhouse prepared to conclude the first foray of inter conference play the title picture continues to slowly come into focus.

Tonight our cameras take focus on the coliseum as the Generals seek to right the ship against the Bunnies.

While on the other end of the spectrum Deronimo plays host to Blackgate with top spot in the standings up for grabs.

Sparty tries can to keep pace against a Bulldog club gathering steam.

And Ladson tries to solve the riddle of their difficulties away from the NoCo as they hit the road to face the cellar dwelling Shocks.

In club red

The blizzards will be blowing into Portland in their attempts to stay at the top of the heap.

The Dream is hoping to avoid another nightmare road performance as the travel to the little box to face the fine fiercekittens

The Nasties seek to climb back into contention against a game winners squad also eager to stay there

And the mavs hope to also keep a handle on being in the postseason picture against hard luck Harrisburg.

Plus we have a special schmaltzy feature to celebrate the Generals silver anniversary. https://youtu.be/wtxanSrNdN8

Our "where are they now" segment catches up with Deronimo legend Lee Thomas.

Plus Sybil the soothsayer gives us her picks for tonight's tilts and it's another edition of Vox populi
https://youtu.be/c5Gf0VKXk5Q

it's all that...And more as it's buzzer beater tonight!

Suddenly I have this guy scoring 40+ every night but the rest of the team can't put the ball in the basket at all. Even just a tiny bit of support for him and they're winning !!

Well at least that guy will help sell some tee shirts. My inner Don Draper would have one with a play on words with this 80's classic. https://youtu.be/yABYRP8F8-o

The Generals coaching staff had a different message for their players after falling behind the Bunnies at the half. https://youtu.be/4J4zA9OYIco . We are still a work in progress, but flaws remain and upward mobility is going to be arduous.

The pecking order is working itself out on both sides though a bit more concrete in the blues.

Deronimo still has the passion, the dogs have regained there's and those two are the best of the bunch imo. Though the Exiles are going to have a big say. Sparty is sliding back to the pack a little bit but still has a lot of cushion. Ladson per always is getting better by the day. My boys might be the least predictable of the lot, especially when still in cup consideration. While the Bunnies and Shocks are stuck playing a different game https://youtu.be/jSa9mkAAWsg

In fabled Club Red, the blizzards are ensconced at the top and can concentrate on staying there. The kitties are where they want to be, winners must find themselves happy to be where they are. That 4-6 slot will get wild. Harrisburg has at the least settled into knowing it's place, and staying there while the clws are pretty much marking time as scrimmage fodder.

Wow the ATL Dream are having happier nights now that they are I guess and hope getting younger. Talk about the old man club. I was curious what the 19 yr guy did to get his pink slip? I guess he just looked old, shave that James Harden beard next time bro. Us young teams know it's going to have up's and down's and those down's can really get to you. Gave up 10 points in the 1st quarter at home and could never recover ouch.

Hello Hello Is this mic on? Yes, it was a surprise to the Coach that my young team hung in there and the fans will 'd us to a very hard fought victory. (We got lucky!). Blizzards look good enough to go on.

Be careful on that next level, two MVPs at 100k salary can take out most of our teams here (imo). Good Luck in your journey.

Opening: a shot from the vantage of the ticket taker as a crowd of Generals fans enter the Coliseum
Cue: https://youtu.be/_onagRhKN5E

Announcer: as season 41 hits it's midpoint a separation seems to be forming between those with a real chance to promote and those who have seen their early hopes start to fade away.

Tonight our cameras focus on Greensboro Coliseum where the sharp shooting Snow Blizzards visit a Generals squad still seeking to get a grip on it's potential. ( Ed note: I could have sworn my boys were on the road tonight, I can just see the charter being boarded and our PR guy showing up with his arms flailing screaming STOP)

Tonight the Kittens keep company with the Bunnies as Fierce is ready to retake the top spot in club red should the Blizzards falter.

While at the top of the Big 8 food chain the Exiles look to be in cruise control with the abandoned Claws coming to town.

And Deronimo seeks to handle Harrisburg to stay even in the win column.

Sparty also seeks to keep pace though they have a much tougher assignment with the Mavs making their way to town.

The winners will have their hands full with a road foray against the red hot dogs.

The dream on the other hand seeks to solve their road issues against a shocks club seeking to find a way out of the big 8 basement.

And Ladson who seem to be improving by leaps and bounds every night out travel to face the Nasties who are desperate to pull out of their free fall.

Also tonight it's the a by the numbers breakdown on the Blizzards three point barrages. A investigative report on the rash of one star Yelp reviews of the concessionary confections coming out of the CC Mavs kitchen and Management's plan to fight back. Plus we go around and get the league predictions for Superb Owl 52 (Pats 27 Eagles 21)

That and more as it's once again BB2night

Anybody here appreciate Joni Mitchell, I appreciate Joni Mitchell, though I did not appreciate that for the 2nd time in two trips to the litter box the kitties crunched the Generals. https://youtu.be/3QWkWwxdzRk

But in spite of running a staggered lineup my guys kept the issue in doubt to the very end and actually held the lead most of the evening. Yet in my mind the fatal telling statistical fact was going 1-19 from behind the arc as we could not buy one for https://youtu.be/psUgDIZEbXg
