Incase anyone else is curious. I think players start to decline at age 35. Because I saw about six 35 year olds in the player market and they all had down arrows. (They were C and PF, but I assume that goes for any position) and 34 year olds, didn't have any down arrows.
I think that's helpful to know about, or to keep in mind. That way you have some idea what to expect from your players heading into a certain season.
Romeu has about 2 good seasons left, not including this one. So I could try to sell him, and somebody would get 2 good seasons out of him, or I could keep him, and cough up any amount of money I would of gotten back for him, when he was still a starter. I think that's what I'm gunna do. Because I don't really need anything in return for him. I have my next starting 5 on my bench.
But were see how his season goes, and what he avg. and decide if it's worth holding onto him, and pay em.whatever amount of money he'll be worth next season.
He won't avg. What he typically does for our team, because he's got gunna see ALOT of playing time this season. He'll be a backup player or sometimes won't be on the court. He's been an injured prone player for us, and I think this is the best way to handle things.
Now I have saw the newspapers, and how the world is fallen, because we lost a regular season game, to bombers. Guys, we've never been a 1st half team, or a team that goes 22-0. We're a rough scrappy team.
For those worried about us, because we lost A game or because we dropped in the power rankings...fans, just R-E-L-A-X- and keep coming out to the games, rooting us on.
We wanna win, as badly as y'all do, BUT it's just 1 loss, there's no need to throw dirt on us for it.
I know expectations are high here, but we know what we gotta do, and the mindset we gotta be in to get it done.
See y'all all at the game, Saturday night!
