So it's pretty unfair because usually the strenght of conferences is not balanced and better team who just happen to have one tougher opponent than others can't be promoted because of this. Hm, randomness is often deciding factor in this game.

(I personally don't care much, beingo n 22-0 pace and I guess there won't be any bot to demote so I would have to fight for it on court)

u r right,it is not a bug. i checked my notes and noticed that they have won their conference. so we can say that getting promoted based on bot cleanup needs to win ur conference in regular season and higher W/L percentage. in my case it was unfair, because there was 2 teams that should be promoted, but unfortunately we were at the same conference.
