sorry, today my brain work very very slowly :)

@josefka: i absolutely believe that the topic is here is of general interest (and as a very big man trainer i'm actually pretty interested, too ;)) and no one is really doing advertising.
i'm also no Mod or GM, i just wanted to point out the probable reason why Newton asked for removal.
As for my personal opinion as a user i have no problem at all with this linking, maybe my brute quote from rules didn't help much to express my feelings :)

@Josef Ka: I simply asked to remove the links, not to delete the posts... and I am actually quite surprised they are still there.

Just copy skills etc. into thread without name or transfer remarks and it could be any player....

The rules strictly prohibit transfer-listed players from being posted in the forums except for designated threads.

However, in the case of players on bot teams who are released as free agents, we're not as strict, as no user benefits from that.

So the Mathiot link is fine - the other is not.

Good! And after that do you think is useful to train shot blocking?

Maybe this isn't the best strategy, but I train mainly centers, and I throw SB training in a couple weeks per to lessen the 'pull' factor of my considerably higher other inside skills. Heard others recomend this as well.

the lessening of the "pull" effect should be more or less balanced by the decrease of the difference between actual and potential "value" (whatever that value is — salary, weighted skill sum, length of the nose, whatever).

Something I hadnt thought about, good point. I guess I was mistaken by thinking each skill has its own potential, and not that the potential softcap is actually a sum of all skills.

One time, I was playing a pick-up game at my friend Eddie's house. He had a hoop nailed to the garage, and we played on the driveway. His cousin Davy was playing. Davy had colossal shot-blocking skills. He was also 5'-1". It was unbelievable, he blocked every single one of my shots. I should point out that I'm 7'-8". He couldn't even reach the top of my head if jumped. Yet somehow in a game up to 21, he managed to get 48 blocks. It didn't help that my teammates all had pitiful and awful jump shots, and my passing skill at the time was atrocious, so we had a hard time even getting shots (that we typically missed when they weren't blocked). Davy made it up to us. He bought us all sodas after the game. He could afford it with the salary he was making.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
