SBBL - Season 18 Regular Season Stories.....

Season 18 is going to reach their end soon. Since the SBBL last Press Release, plenty of changes had happened.

The team with most dramatic turnaround is Lycans BB, who had to part ways with Singapore best player Fang Shuang Xiang because of injury problem. Although Lycans managed nabbed another SGP prospect Lim Shi Xin, but it's too late for them to make their league run, as they eventually stuck at eight place and will be relegated to Div II.

SLZH was looking like a team who ready to relegate, until they brought in Yusuke Furusawa, a known-superstar of Blue Samurai. And another one is Vladislav Lyakhovitskiy, probably one of the Russian best inside player. Although they still trying to build some chemistry, but it's clear that their superstars are capable to carry SLZH team once more like they did before.

SingSing82, an unknown team at their SBBL debut, are now locked at playoff 4th position. Their passion made them hard to beat at their homecourt. Until season ends, only Eric United and Singapore Showstoppers were able to sweep 2-0 meeting with SingSing82. However, SingSing82 now seems troubled with the absence of PG Boris Buzhan due to injury and might miss the playoff games.

Shwe Toe Ngal, crowned the S18 Singapore Tournament Champion after beating SG Young Guns. Even with a crown on their side, STN still keep shaping up the team, brought in Stefan Polski (8880003). STN were struggled with multiple injuries and Game Shape problem, but now with healthy Laimis Ješelskis (9886455), STN might rock the playoff as well.... only if they won Fat-A on next Saturday.

Eric United, keep displaying the high level of BB basketball art, with all of their player are capable to run their own offense and ignite a high scoring game, combined with athletic wingmen who are very hungry on steal-and-fastbreak game. This season Eric Utd sitting comfortable at #2 Big 8 position, and only trailed to........

Esplanade Basketball Club. EBC continued their early season success behind the maestro of Pablo Garcia & Dimos Tsemperlidis. Their triple headed monster bigman Jorge Rosales, Lovro Rižnar & Yue Chi Chuong are the best board controller.

EBC currently is the SBBL team with best record, but they might lose it to Eric Utd had they lost their league finale to SingSing82 on next Saturday.
