merge all the leagues together.

i rarely agree with what you say but this one gets my thumbs up

it's piece of cake to make lots of $$$ playing in a small country while it's extremely hard to get to the summit at big countries. at the same time, players are bought and sold regardless of their nationality. so, I couldn't agree more: leagues should be merged internationally. i hope BBM would eventually lead to that, hopefully soon.

Hazards to Society
Do you happen to know the teams' salaries at the beginning of the season? Even if the Tiers were salary based. What happens when a team doubles their salaries after the start of the season? Like the Pig Sixers (5th place).

I think this feeling of unfairness will happen no matter what rules we use to define the tiers. There are so many teams with millions in money to spend that could always decide they wanted to win their tier.

I agree that there will be some unfairness no matter what, but is there a way to factor what division a team is in into their world ranking more? Or at least consider it heavily for what BBM tier they are placed in? It seems to me that if all teams in a tier were in relatively the same division then they would have equal earning potential and therefore would only be able to afford roughly the same amount of salary. That is why individual leagues are fair; all teams have similar TV contract, merchandise, and attendance income so they tend to have similar team salaries.

Tier 3 currently has a lot of division II and III teams, but it will for sure be won by a division I team as they can afford to pay much higher salaries.

If you find this OK, well, I guess you never played real sports. Or anything competitive at that note.

Relax! I was just saying that its OK if a giant new competition isnt perfectly fair immediately, it may take some time to work itself out.

Also, there is no system where all 1000 teams are competitive in each tier, it just doesnt work that way. Because only 6% of the teams make the playoff, the vast majority are not competitive and, in fact, will be eliminated by week 2 or 3.

My main criticism is that BBM is at the beginning of the season, when its least needed. After all, if the point of BBM is to add another competitive game each week, then we dont need it at the beginning of the season when we have the cup.

We do have a cutoff for players being added to the playoff roster. Maybe we could do something similar for BBM? (Like, added for the playoffs? But it doesnt seem like its enough money to be worth it IMO)

In other games system sir... newly created Accounts starts below the rankings... so probably it will also be the same here... New team would probably just take the current Ranking of the Bot Team they replaced and will need to work his Rank/BBM Tier from there... So Still all could be fair for them... Next Season Tier Grouping would be better than what we had this season too...

Then new teams from small countries would be punished. Because a team that has been created in div.2 and hasn't built its arena yet

The two seasons without salary floor are more than enough to build a 20k seats arena. Just fire your players and wait.

People don't realize how huge is the difference between playing in Spain or Italy and any small country.

I am not complaining in the sense that the game is much more fun and challenging here. Just it is a little bit annoying people from countries like Iran thinking that they are the best managers in the world.

Sanchez not saying anything controversial? :O

uh, wait, here it is... :D

All in all, yeah, as someone who's seen Lithuania having 5 divisions and now having almost dead third leagues, can confirm - a (legitimately) competetive environment is a lot more fun.

Do we have a Tier Floor calculation installed here sir... I think having this in your system would be beneficial to the fun and experience for the Newbies... and those who tank the BBM games will not Drop their Tier Rank/Group/Position that much...

So I believe World Ranking from the performance from our National and Conference should be our Tier Floor reference... and the WR we receive from our BBM Performance would be our ceiling if not the supposed next Seasons Tier Group reference...
