1. do to cover the areas for improvements? (please also list what do you think are the areas for improvement of the team).
2. do to further augment the team's strengths? (please list the team's strengths as well)

1.If one would look more closely in the U21 line up last season. You would notice that two kind of players exist. First are the Point Guards who could shoot, pass, drive and defend the perimeter. Second are very solid Centers with four main skills which are amazingly high. What the team lack before was a legitimate SF. One who could defend the shaded lane and the perimter at the same time do damage offensively inside and outside. Emmanuel Savella was the closest that we have. Yet we need the likes of Laurel and Quisumbing. Last season, I was periodically checking the 18 years old(who are 19 now) and I have seen players with potential to follow on the footsteps of those two that I mentioned.

2.Last season, I believe we have best big men out there. Probably better than the other U21 Teams. Unfortunately their game shapes were not kept consistently high. Our loses were mainly because of game shape problems. The same for this season. Our strength will still be inside. Maybe we can augment this by giving them improvements in their secondaries. Our tactics will be more flexible if we have players with more rounded skills.

Those are the specifics. There are also generics, like mentoring, scouting, communication and growing the community which were already mentioned by the others.

So what really made the previous U21 Manager successful? She made a team of staff that are not just friends inside the world of Buzzerbeater but also friends outside of it.

Sorry... would you be a guru or a coach? :)

I was thinking if you really were the one who one balled my post. :D

Anyway, creating an offsite BB Community for tactics discussion does not necessarily translate to the death this Community. USA has one. In fact we already have one. But see, the community is still here.

Your name is not on the voting list. Last night when i cast my vote you were there. There were 14 aspiring managers on the list. Now there are only 8.

To all:

If you lose the elections, will you still help the U21 Team?

If possible, tell us about your life outside BuzzerBeater and how you would balance it and being a U21 Coach.

If i lose, i will still help. And the best way i could help is to train players for the NT. When i drafted Solima 4 seasons ago, and seeing his big man skills all respectable, that got my interest in the NT. Now i have new recruits who i hope would one day play for the U21.

I am an engineer by profession. Working in a food manufacturing company. Like most of us here, work will always be priority for me. But off from work, i have ample time.

1.Even though I lost the election I always wanted to help the gm in charge of the U21 national team

2.for being a student and a gm of the national team , I will balance my time in my studying and researching other U21 national teams by setting up times for the U21 of the Philippines but sometimes I wont be online so I need some staff to help me

can we also know the what the other candidates think they can do for the U21? i mean to become a U21 manager for me in my opinion does not necessarily be successful on your own team but how you can help with community in general.,like giving advice to newbies on the how to play the game and train their potential rookies and the humility to ask other managers on some aspect that you might be deficient. :L)

I think we could put more threads about training players, especially SF's because like what Harmless said, our U21 lacks in this position. I think that sometimes its hard for our U21 to give advice to every single manager in our community, so i think we should let them have the initiative to ask. Our community will surely grow if more people take part in the forums. But I also promise to help in mentoring some of the managers. I could also help them in terms of their trainers like a forum where people could suggest cheap staff pickups to help the managers find good trainers, lvl 4 and above.

I think if we could have like a weekly open forum like on a specific time where managers can ask freely about their problems in the team it would really help. Then maybe other managers online could help them too. I would also be active here, so that i could help our fellow Filipino managers.

Our community would surely grow, and be more open with other managers if we could push these things through.

question to the candidates: how can you say that you'll be successful managing the NT if you still haven't experienced competing on our country's respective top leagues? i think this is important to know for the voters since managing in the top league is a whole like managing the NT in terms of players, competition, etc.
