Indeed, field is small and players are moving ball by bare hands, there is so many things which can be done just by creativity and reflexes. Soccer need for that really high skill, otherwise it look like players doesnt know what they are doing. But humans brain is fascinating mechanism and while get used to focus on something really boring, still can find there some exciting moments and look forward for every one of them.

So what you can call exciting moments, is in fact usuall boring thing for which you just learn yourself to focus on. (ahh that english is killing me) But this sense of finding excitement have everyone on different level. So make everytime a huge difference if anyone of players can do something in advance, because that is the thing which bring fans together and they can talk about it.

I cant find any connection with allstar games or so, because that is completely different thing. At the end, if every match would be like allstar game, fans would get bored by the time anyway and would be trying to find something extra again.

I do not understand, what exactly are you talking about. Why do you like basketball?
What exactly are you missing in this game? We have dunks in crowd, dunking over people, acrobatic moves to the basket, people trying to show their range, alley oop passes etc! What are you missing? Do you want every play to be superacrobatic dribble with high arcing 3 pointer over 4 players.
It seems to me you are the guy that just watches game recaps and top10 plays of the week. You do not like basketball you like globetrotters...

Heh, your deduction would be normally right in every aspect, but Im barely watching games of my own team. When there seems to be a hardworked key win and to figure out how tactic works, thats it.

At this point would seem strange that Im in something which in fact doesnt matter to me. But the truth is that I got this idea during reading Mannen post, that there is another space for managers to decide - at this point for pleased crowd or better results, depends on players personality.

It seems to me pretty accurate that in the sport like this will be the show and entertainment always very important. Thats why I can watch NBA games more likely than the eurooean, because here it is just about some sweating guys without charisma.

I know this is something against you guys, which dont like to see that someone is watching games for the show. I dont mean by that players have to rotate in the air like gummy bears. This isnt about doing wrestling and give up on kickbox. Real influence could be very small...

Are you watching your games live? If you are then you can see that there are decent amount of flare in the game. Perhaps even too many dunks. Now adding to that, if your player scores a lot of points, rebounds or dishes out decent amount of assists. You will get more merchandise. What you want to add is get additional ~2$ every time your team dunks the ball etc. While going for the dunks more attempts will be missed -> making this option another tie vs normal effect -> making dominant teams who can play this tactic earn even more.
I'm pretty sure teams in NBA playoffs are not playing for show, but are playing to win.
European basketball is different and you saying that it lacks great moves shows you have not watched euroleague this year (or ever). Biggest difference between NBA and european rules is the first step. A lot of travellings are not called in NBA, giving slight advantage to offence. We can't argue though that the best players are playing in the NBA, some players can't adapt to that game style (Navarro, Jasikevicius etc), but still NBA is the best league hands down.
