I have a competent trainer and have only had 2 injuries ( hopefully no more) so far this season. My SG just had to come out of one game, and my C was injured for 2 weeks. GE may play a factor, but how many minutes your players play, the opponents and opponents aggressiveness that they guard, and the team you're playing may also be involved.

I didn't mean that the trainer prevented injuries. I just meant that injuries are mostly random.

What I was saying is that trainers have nothing to do with injuries. Doctors on the other hand help prevent them....but I agree that injuries can be rather random.

I've had 4 injuries this season
3 ingame injuries
1 1 week injury.

Odd thing is the last 3 injuries were back to back games. This close to playoffs? To say I pooped my pants is an understatement!

I've said that earlier. Call me paranoid or not but I "think" (don't quote me on it) that injuries are more likely to happen the closer you are to playoffs! lol...maybe its just Murphy's law!

I have a strong theory that injuries are linked to the hidden physicality trait. As a result certain teams will get injuries again and again while others will sail along never having an issue. I had one player who was always getting injured and fouled a lot even though his stamina was good and his defence was the best on my team. Too physical. I know some other teams that never seem to have injuries and others that constantly do. Check your players for their foul rates, if they are high then that is the cause. Also check your opponents. It could be that in your league there are certain other teams with bad bruisers that are constantly injuring your guys.

Finally as everyone said there is statistics. There must be some team that has never had an injury just like there must be some team that has one every week.

Hmm, don't know if that's true, but it would make sense for some players to be more injury prone.
It wouldn't be fair though, as there's no way for you to check a players injury history.

big deal, trying having your key trainees going down in a long injury like mine always have been especially in game 2 of finals and you had a chance to win while TIE which would have let you win the next game...

Maybe your player is injury prone. Kinda hidden attribute...
