I think these are great the only problem is there are lots of names for new players and lots for very old ones but not so many for those guys in their prime. I think guys who are 25 and playing in the top league are hardly greenhorns or novices. I put in some fun/silly ones for the very rare high experience levels.

Rookie after sophomore? Really?
I think you can't put names which are related to the number of seasons played at a certain level IRL, it would be quite disturbing.

In the USA system in theory you have four years of College and then are an NBA (professional) rookie but the reality is obviously most good players go much earlier.
