50% paying salary on the 5th place is a really nice change, less tanking.

But the thing about 50/50% money from PO game (they said its just for the 1st game in playoff, I hope it will be so) is really bad, I don't see nothing good here. Someone get 50% of money on my arena and I deserve to play home.
This change is just made for those less good managers, for all good managers this change is 0/10.

If it is 50/50% money during the whole PO, then this game becomes epic and I don't play League more, just Cup, so sad..

They get out money from people who deserve it during the whole season, nice..

Unfortunately, the top teams are the ones who will take a major hit in order to "solve" the 5th place tanking issue. And yes it's for all of the playoff games as i understand it. It is true that a lot of top teams might try to play the Tournament (Cup) now and disregard the league.

Nice ruin for the game, most of top managers from their country will quit.

Now on, for me their is no League more, I just play the Cup, so sad what BB is trying to do, they punish the top managers because they are good during the whole season, and give their 17% of money to someone who don't deserve it in the season.

I have an excellent idea for those new changes, on the way BB is going on, I would say it would be nice to punish a club who win the 1st League with -500k.

I hope a BB will give me an answer about this thing.

You didn't answer the question, it doesn't matter.

Each season, you pay largely above 10M for the roster salaries.
Currently, your roster is 900k, yearly 12.6M. Compare these expenses with the 400k loss.
A loss that is the worst case of all, if you are unlucky enough to finish 1st of conference, win your PO games, gain HCA for the finals and reach game 3 of the finals. This is a really bad stroke of luck, hopefully, this can only happen to one team per league per season. The irony of course is intended, don't feel offended, it's funnier this way, nothing against you friend :)

The money that is redistributed by the new rule is 0.01% of the league total arena revenues. Not a made-up number, it should approx. be that.

1st place is financially the new 4th place.

Very difficult to listen to...
1st place is the best position to win the league prize and achieve promotion which is the best way to improve income.
1st is by far the best position financially and I guess that if I had the data to make a ranking of which final position usually earns the most during the season, 1st would be 1st.

Anyways, time will tell if teams lose games on purpose to finish 2nd or 3rd. I don't think anyone can believe will see that...

Top teams tank when they end a cycle and are cash-trapped.

You will have teams now paying relatively low salaries, making the playoffs as the 4th team in the division and buying a few monsters before the playoffs.

If they pay low salaries and managed to finish 4th, the conference level is too disparate and this is another problem. It happens frequently in first leagues, in many leagues, it will solve itself.

Sorry but what's the relevance with the rule change ? Why would they do this now and not before ?
Because they'd earn 50% instead of 33% if they win, seriously ?

This is why I asked how much the hypothetical loss weights in regards to a roster budget.
The loss is a mere 3% maximum of your annual roster salaries budget.

Really, aren't you overdramatizing ? Your current roster is paid 900K, if it had to be paid 875k, is it going to be that different ?
How is it that you seem to be sure to finish 1st or 2nd of your conf season after season ? Some final positions may have had too many advantages. It's ok in leagues where the winner is promoted, it's sometimes problems in top leagues because there is no way up.

But they go in hand in hand, they are 2 parts of the same measure, don't you understand ?

3rd place is the new 5th place. Everybody tank/lose/forfeit and go for 3rd!

For top leagues this might revitalize playoffs, often we would see teams just tanking the playoffs to avoid losing money in an unlikely away match.
