I'm constantly having this problem because I like outside offenses more (just a philosophical thing) and outside players always underperform.

Yes mostly motion and patient. The guys I am thinking about with the much, much lower salaries are doing better with worse offences (for them) and better scorers alongside them taking the easiest shots.

I was watching Steph Curry today. He scored no matter what defense was put on him.

This is 100% what is wrong with BB. Every time I watch an NBA game I am reminded of this. BB is NOT a realistic simulatino of basketball. . Not by a long shot (pun intented)

+1 to that!

There's also a heck of a lot of assumptions being thrown around, too.

Juss sayin'!

More than the realism, the biggest problem I have with the current setup is that it encourages all identical teams built up of SF - maybe one with a higher JS and the other with a higher ID. A couple of seasons ago in the IPBL, we had a team that built up a roster with a salary of $1.2 mil or so who got thrashed by the team with the salary-efficient roster. I'd like to see a team built of uni-dimensional players do well or a team with a single player, like the old Cavs.

What this does is that the balanced players cost a hell of a lot and, finally, the teams that do well are those that have tanked 4 or 5 seasons to save up 20+ million. This is now the strategy in the IPBL.
