The bigs will be interesting with his new guy, his G's are pretty special though.

With the fact he was one of the only ones to purchase so far, he looks to be taking it pretty seriously. I think realistically my trainees could do with another good season of training before I look to promote so I won't be breaking the bank to beat him (or anyone who might spend up in the mean time)

Well, after what has seemed like a very long season that has seen a few teams retire and some new blood come in. We are down to the Finals Series.

I think the season started out looking like there was a dominance from the Reds of the Great 8, however, in looking at the final win /loss scores, it looks like the Big 8 Blues have it this season as the more competitive side of the Division. Well done guys for a challenging season to the end.

How about the last play-off spot in the Big 8 finals series being decided in the last game? Hey McFly bumping Wolves Revenge out by 13 points at home with less Enthusiasm after a late 4th quarter push, in a high volume encounter 142 - 129 at the Hill Valley Gymnasium. Hey McFly now face hawkie mammoths away for a shot to land a spot in the Semi Finals. The outcome of this last game also opened the door for Harey Men to take up the last spot for the finals with a convincing win over a still developing team in Richmond Tigers 90 - 58. Good news is they saved Enthusiasm in the game and can now use it in their first round play-off appearance, an away game to No. 1 seed Surry Hills Peeps.

The Great 8 didn't produce any surprises in the finishing spots for the finals campaigns of the top 4 teams. The games from here provide the theater. The favorite Noidya, has suffered 2 injuries to their top 2 players in 2 weeks and still awaits the leagues leading scorer to recover and get back to the court as we speak. Will these injuries and the lowering of Game Shape be enough for Southern Secrets to sneak by with an upset victory in the first round? Or will they possibly be the window needed for be high to squeeze a win out in the Semi Finals after being the top placed team at the end of the regular season? Like I stated, still a bit of theater here to come, not least of all the fact that be high and Southern Secrets could drop out all together and become major No Factors simply by not logging back in... we'll watch with baited breath.

Now we enter the Finals campaign for Season 24, and still there are a few big side stories to play out. Will Be High and Southern Secrets log back in and push their opposition? If they don't, will their Standard Line-ups result in their opposition taking them lightly and ultimately end up losing to them in the 1st or 2nd round? Will we see the favorites from each side of the division make it through? Who will win the relegation series and earn the right to stay in the storied Div 3.12?

Good luck all, and thanks to everyone that contributed to the forum this season.

Well the first rounds of the finals have been decided as well as game 1 of the relegation series.

be high took out Tradies in a powerful and not too unexpected display 115 - 57
Southern Secrets fell to my pick as the favorite Noidya in a close game after leading for a great portion of the game 103 - 96
my favorite team, Surry Hills romped home against a gallant Harey Men 104 - 68
and to round out the finals hawkie mammoths went neck and neck to outlast Hey McFly 101 - 91

The relegation games were opened by two convincing wins to the Mighty Blues;
Hansbroughs Hurricanes over Aussie Thunder 130 - 90 and
Toonie Purple Cobras really over The Shotblockers 120 - 39

Conference Finals open on Saturday night with Be High hosting Noidya, which is looking like the game of the season now that be high has logged back in from a 6 week MIA, GS are pretty even, Enth is even, hopefully Noidya has his league leading scorer back from injury with enough GS to make a difference, will either team CT to assure the win?
At the same time Surry Hills Peeps will play host to hawkie mammoths in a match that will almost certainly see mammoths CT for survival, the Peeps should be ok with this as they have had more Enth played against them in every game this season and have become game hardened to such tactics.

Saturday night also brings the 2nd of the relegation match ups at the same time. Will the mighty blues close it out in 2, or will the Reds show some fight and take them to 3?

Tune in guys!

If you miss the games, check here on Monday to get the wrap.

I wondered if be high would do that. Seems to be a manager that keeps a low profile and would mark the diary so the team doesn't BOTify. Probably wont log in for another 5 weeks now.

I think Be High is addicted to wearing pink... he's always the bridesmaid and never the bride.
Since season 15 or something when I got into III.12 he has been finishing between 1st and 3rd every season since.

Yeah, I'm not sure what his go is, perennially top 1-3, same team for ages, no junior development, no community communication... Strange.

Then there's southern secrets, he just invested heavily in good youth, and was not long ago communicating about his intentions this season, then, nothing. If he doesn't log in by this update... Gone.

Be High coming back will be worrying Noidya though, what if he CT's the semi? After all Be High has to overhaul his aging team and that would be more difficult in Div II than here, so why not CT and get to the finals for the cash? Tough one.

Well there it is, we have the Conference Finalist decided in two contrasting games.

Surry Hills Peeps got off to a cracking start and hawkie mammoths just found the pace of the game too frantic going in with only 6 players and went down 92 - 63. It was a valiant game by the mammoths, who enter the off season looking at a good rest and then a solid training camp and solid season in Season 25.

Game 2 saw Noidya overcome a Crunch Timing home team in be high in the 4th quarter 93 - 85. Having the leagues leading scorer (Jun) back and a surging Aussie SF in Webb working together like they were teammates all season, overcoming a late injury to their starting Center Xiaohao, Noidya were just to young and polished for be high to get by. be high enter the off season with a dire need to retool before next season, their management team severely need to an audit of basketball operations and identify how they possibly can keep their long serving and successful club to the playoffs 14 seasons in a row without taking the ultimate prize.

In the other games of the night we saw the mighty Blues maintain the power in the Div with Toonie Purple Cobras absolutely romping home against The Shotblockers 113 - 49, and Hansbroughs Hurricanes with just too much run against Aussie Thunder 128 - 94.

It looks like the Big 8 will be well intact going into next season and the Great 8 will see a plethora of new faces.

The Finals series is going to be a cracker, both teams will be at full strength going in, may the best team remain standing by Sunday 15th. Game one is 6pm this Tuesday at KVWN Channel 4 Newsdome.

Cheers mate.

You must have been cracking it when the injury happened!? But your boys rallied and pulled through like champions. He will be spewing with the loss having HCA and using CT, to still go down in the 4th.

Yeah the Finals will be a good one, I think we have been playing cat and mouse for a bit with each other on line ups, time to put it all on the line.

How many OT's do you think we'll have?

Yeah was just hoping my starting centre wouldn't be out for the next games. Thank god it wasnt serious. I already have a weak frontline compared to yours.

Hopefully not many. My game shape is already shot because of those injuries.
