Been bombarded with work lately and have barely managed to set lineups also not helping is the fact that I haven't really had a reliable source of internet for the past 3 weeks. Damn HSC not allowing me to buzzerbeat hahaha

Hahaha, I only get busy during exams as well. So you're probably right to think that. I'll probably have to agree with you there haha

I don't know if you watched it but that game had me yelling every damn play! Such a good game to watch! You easily deserved the win, didn't even expect to get close that game, considering my poor choice of tactics and GDP and no HCA. I'm disappointed that the game was robbed from me with a couple of steals :(
The injuries and fouls surely helped me get far haha
Anyway you deserved that win, was interesting to watch and I'm glad I tuned in to it haha.
Luckily doesn't look like any of your players were injured permanently :)

I watched it all and was getting rather ticked off when I saw my team fall to pieces in that third quarter... really gave me a scare tonight. And if not for your GDP attempt I would've surely lost, with the way Eric Bradbury was playing prior to extra time. But, if you didn't expect to get close in this game, why CT?

I mean I did not expect to win once I saw the poor attempt at GDP and my inaccurate defensive tactic as well as your accurate defensive tactic. I was expecting a blow out and stopped watching until the 3rd quarter had just started. I was really surprised by Bradbury's shooting, but happy at the same time haha, I can imagine myself being in your position and getting ticked off every play that went the wrong way.
The reason I CTed was also because I tried to catch you off guard, where you would assume that I would assume that I would also TIE this game because of several negative factors, I thought I could get a rather good upper-hand on you. I'm ticked off that I used GDP at all now haha

You can pretty much guarantee these days that I will TIE regular season games. The always high enthusiasm usually offsets the effort penalty, at least in my opinion, and you also want to be carrying as much enthusiasm as possible into the play-offs. The way I see it, CT can win you one game you'd otherwise lose, but what good is that if you then lose two games you'd otherwise win because of low enthusiasm? Others may see this dilemma differently though.

Also after playing Motion in both league games last week I was never going to play it tonight for GDP reasons. In fact, me playing the same tactic two games in a row is fairly rare. 3-2 Zone is actually pretty good in this game though, even against inside tactics. The theory is that if you have a strong enough perimeter defence you can stop the ball from getting inside in the first place. This is why defensive minded guards, like my main trainee Cicvaric, are considered valuable in this game.

To be honest, with you having the balls to CT me you deserved the win tonight. I'm sorry that it didn't happen...

the biggest margin between Carlton and myself in tonights game was 5 points, and that happened in the last 2 minutes. For the rest of the game i ti was max 3 points either way.

disappointing to lose.

Hah, just gotta make better tactical decisions next time, I guess it was my fault in the end for the GDP. I'm still wondering what was going through my brain when I CTed AND used GDP.

I agree with you to an extent on this one. While I never actually thought of it that way, that is actually a good point you have made. But I think that once you get to the determined/inspired mark and when it becomes harder/slower to gain enthusiasm that the small mark in enthusiasm wont make much of a difference over the large amount of effort you're lacking in games. But then again, like you implied, you want every advantage you can get going into the playoffs haha.

Those are the games that really put you on edge. Games which you could have won had the last few plays gone your way or had you changed something small that positively affected your team. But these games are what make BB interesting as well, haha better luck next time. Our conference has a tight contest from seeds 3-6, I'd be happy with 5 and above to be honest but of course I'm aiming for at least the playoffs. It will be interesting to watch the league progress...

oh snap! I set all my backups and trainnee's for 1n1n for forwards training, sacrificing the league game for my cup game against Coasters.

and what does BPSC's do? the exact same!
so we end up with a scrubber battle of epic propotions! A. Groppo went from hero to zero, hitting 35 points, but then missing the 3 for the win AND then fouling the opposition to send them to the line for 2 free throws for the win.

bullcrap. the guy with Prominent experience fouls at the death. what bollox.

A two point and 3 point loss this week with 2 away games. No arena income. tough week for the Linguists.

At least my cup game is at home. And I should win.
