The chefs will look to cruise past embattled Boston

2 and mavs renew hostilities with a leg up in the playoff picture awaiting the winner

The kitties will see to claw their way to a 4-0 start as the Masters come calling

And the blasters will go on the road looking to get off the scnide against the stones

Over in big blue

The surprising hunnies will look to claim a win against suddenly suspect Deronimo.

Storms and Cal clash in a game with playoff ramifications

The nation looks to find a way to pull one off against a Petersburg club surprised to find themselves in a dogfight.


And the generals look to get back to even money with the jammers coming to town

Sybil will have her say. And since it's election night we will discuss the link between BB and the political process. The lone remaining unbeaten squad in the kitties will be hard pressed to stay so with a trip to 2 on the docket


While on the other end of the spectrum the blasters and barricade battle to stay clear of the cellar

The Masters and mavs clash in a battle between the teams on the divinding line

And the chefs and stones square off in another contest where the result will impact the pecking order


Meanwhile in the blues

The generals and stormz will tend to a matter of business that could have big impact

In a contest between the two teams from the Commonwealth of Virginia Deronimo and Petersburg come into that contest both in dire need of a victory

Cal will look to avoid a trap against the jammers

And at the top of the table the bunnies and nation will get it on with perhaps sole possession of first place on the line


Sybil will give her insights as always. With the first round of draws set for the cup we will look at who has the most difficult assignments. And tonight our round table will take a taste test of the various specialty culinary confectionery available at the various league venues. Announcer: as we enter into the first week of truly competitive cup play the question becomes for some of how much can they put into their regular league efforts and till stay in the country competition. For some those answers will be self evident with bare bone corporate teams on the slate. For others the task requires a little more balancing while for others there is a decision to be made, everyone wants their extra $50k but the question becomes, at what cost.

Petersburg has surprisingly atruggled thus far but should easily right the ship againstthe rudderless Jammers


The Bunnies are sitting pretty all alone the top of the table. And with Greensboro having to take a stout cup contest into effect it looks like the bunnies will solidify their standing.


Cal will look to keep pace a game back as Deronimo is in the unusual glance at looking up at the standings.

and stormz and the nation will match wits in their efforts to stay close to the top

The mavs and suddenly resurgant blasters battle to decide who will continue to climb the ladder

the chefs look to keep pace but have a tough assignment with a trip to 2 looming

the masters get the benefit of taking on the already tanking barricade

Another Buzzerbeater win for the Mavs. GG Blasters. I could easily be 2 - 4 right now. Great 8 Red is deep this season. Blue beware it shouldn't be as easy as in the last few seasons.

Can I get a job slinging burgers? It seems to be paying very very well !

Announcer: with the end of the first phase of competition coming to a close, the cup heating up, and the holiday season starting the next few games will start to tell a lot of where everything is liable to stack up come seasons end.

Over in the Big 8....

The Generals will look to get a needed victory against a nation squad that is floundering thanks to absentee ownership

Petersburg looks to pull even with the dogs in the win column though a monster number would need to be posted to over take them in the pecking order.

The jammers come calling at Cassell as Deronimo seeks to try and regain some of their lost momentum.

And stormz and bunnies will battle it out for sole possession of first


Over in the rapidly improving club fed.

The mavs will get a chance to give their pacemakers a rest since they have a trip to face the overwhelmed barricade

The blasters seek to gain ground by protecting their house from the Masters.

While 2 looks to sneak a spot up the standings if they can survive a trip to stones

And in another battle of top end teams the kitties will seek to hold home court and to procure a bit of separation against the upstart chefs.

Sybil will have her say, we will take a look and who has what on their Thanksgiving table for the next round of cup play. And tonight we will have a visit to the chefs kitchen as instead of burgers they will show us the proper way to make turducken. So grab a chair and settle in there as it's time again for BB2NIGHT

My kitties have 2 home games in a row, Sat night v. Burger and tues night v. Stormz, that should give pretty good insight into each conference's respective strenghts - couple of good teams visiting at a good Red conference Kitties squad.

Well, Sat night was a shellacking. Burger chiefs crushed my kitties at home by 23 pts, while doing a TIE!

Look out rest of III.5, that team is misnamed - they are NOT Burgerchefs. They are BurgerKINGS.

Compare this result to whatever Stormz is able to achieve v. Kitties on Tues, win or lose, for an early sneak peak into: has the conference balance of power shifted? Early signs point to yes.

Announcer: as the season heads into cross over play the question is, has club fed made the strides that many think will lead to a change in the balance of power here in the slaughterhouse? Tonight we get the first glimpse into what the answer will be.

Many in preseason thought Petersburg would steamroll to a return to D2, but the first round of action finds them under .500. now they start this section with a trip to face a blasters club which has not found their return to where they had great success seasons ago to be as prosperous as they hoped.

The chefs have been crushing the competition as of late, let's see how they fare against the underappreciated bunnies

I have one hell of a sports day this year for my Thanksgiving.


Skins vs Cowboys 4pm : Skins are still in control of the division and a win here could essentially wrap it up as they would be at least 2 games ahead of Philly and 2 plus a tiebreaker on big D but Dallas can place themselves in position to control their own destiny. Losing Alex Smith sucks but Colt McCoy can get it done, a win here and it's whole new game. History suggest Dallas wins and with Smith out it could be a 24-10 type game.

UNC vs Texas 730pm: first real test for the heels, and the horns over the years have given them fits. Should be a good one.

Jizzy Gillespie vs Greensboro Generals 8pm: it was on Thanksgiving night in 2011 I caught the BB bug. (42221347) . That was when I added my first high dollar transfer and that guy played a helluva game. And my team that night played a game both inspiring and heartbreaking. On that night I fell behind, badly. Was trailing 64-38 or something like that mid 3rd. Made a little run to get to about 10-12 but with about 5 minutes left I was still down 15. But somehow someway we took it to overtime. And at the end I was up 100-98 bit committed a foul on a missed three as time ran out, leading to the only blemish I had for that season as we steamrolled to a easy d5 title. The next season someone in the forums keyed me into GS and I took my league to get to d3.


Now in many ways this goes full circle. But tonight I am at home. My opppoent looks overall stronger, both teams comein with some minutes accured but with at least something left in the tank.

Luxury box owners will be part of the pre game Thanksgiving dinner, and we have extended our opponents an invitation to attend, just show up around 12 at the arena, we will socialize in the players lounge and serve dinner at approximately 3pm.
