So this thread doesn't seem to be getting much traction amongst the users.

Are there not many newbies on the forums? If so, what can we do to increase that?

Secondly, if this is going to be more about MY specific team and not general development questions I'm going to ask this as a particular question.

What do I have to do to get Aidan Mays on the u21 team?

Lots of everything except Jump Range, and as much . 10 in jump range is good enough.

Better if you can do more single position training on OD/HA/PA.

Ok I'm nothing like an expert but since there's no answer to your question yet, I'll try.

I think it's a good idea to try this guy out as a PF. I'm guessing that at your level he'll be good enough to take out inside- as well as outside-minded PF players. So in defensive respect he's pretty solid. He makes a reasonable inside shot if your opponent's PF is not that strong and also his passing will give him a few nice assists each game (my guess is it would be about 4 average if he playedin my league/team).

His rebounding is a bit low but he'll still get a few rebounds.

Summarized: I'd give him a try if I were you and see whether it works for you.

This is about as good as you can expect in BB (at least in the US forum). Just not alot of chatter going on.

back to the topic, i agree with Tesse. That guy will prob make a decent PF at the DIV level. At the very least, he should be a solid backup at SF/PF in DIII if you get there.

Aside from the JS being a detriment to in game performance, the money you invest to train him up from awful to perhaps average is going to yield very little market value. Ultimately a training scheme has to serve two purposes (esp for a lower division team) -- aid on court performance and make money.

For a shooting guard, I'd think you need to start with respectable (maybe average if he was well rounded) JS and OD.

Thanks, I needed that specific type of feedback.

SO solomon is better suited trained elsewhere? Or is he a decent enough 2/3 to keep on the team if he's not being trained?

JS and OD... here's where my education gets ramped up.

If I want to train JS, I train JS, right? It sounds like a dumb question as I read it. However, things are not always what they seem in these games. Especially if english isn't the first language of the programmer

Is Outside shooting better? What is the difference in terms of speed and pay off?


Oh and OD is pressure? Cuz that's what I've been training the last 2 weeks.

Outside shooting is Jump Range but of course they each train the other (jump shot being the other) as a secondary, just at a significantly reduced pace.

Pressure trains OD.

I always thought it was kind of backwards to have verbatim training options and descriptions for others.
