No reason to. Results are speaking for him. Its not a coincidence that we have him as a coach for many seasons. I just wish Cyprus had the teams that you have...

yes you are. you won against england and we all know why. what is your enthusiasm now at 2 or 3? Good luck winning more games. I have to say really awesome enthusiasm management from your side. :)

Yep I'm happy, 2 W 1 L, we will see at the end who will be happier.

Good luck by "a bad coach" (lol)

England has 2-1 too. But TIEd 2 times, and never CT. So maybe you are right: "we will see at the end who will be happier"

C'mon man! Are you serious?! Have you seen Cyprus roster compared to yours, Belgium, Germany, Danmark and Sakartvelo? You are surely better than us! We have to spend something on enthusiasm, don't you? My tactic could be unselfish and crazy, but it's the only way I've seen to reach an incredible result with a great effort, may be losing, may be not..

Anyway I played against Belgium, Danmark and England... England plays against Shqipëria, Ireland and us... a different run, don't you?

Good luck Vasco for your team and England for everything, nothing has been decided for sure; I'm in a "bad" position, but a 2-1 pool's position with England and Belgium, we can be 0-3 losing three match...

I would have approached the games differently, but I dont understand why everyone is talking about Belgium all the time??? I wouldnt be suprised if they end up behind Denmark and Sakartvelo and off course Germany (or whoever is in this group, cant be bothered to look it up)...

Sure you have a small nation, and? we are a big nation and we dont have the players you would expect to have for such a big country because people in England arent very Basketball crazy...Basketball is quite a big sport in Greece and Turkey, so I bet it is also a big sport in Cyprus or am I wrong??

I wish you good luck too and no matter what happens, I dont think neither England nor Cyprus will end in the top 2 spots... So lets hope we meet again in the next round :)

Well, I CTed 7 of 9 games in the Worlds with the USA last season, and came within a game of the semifinals, so it's not a death knell to CT.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

We only won 3 games in the Worlds out of 9, but by the time we made the 2nd round we had little choice but to CT our way through and see what happened.

Steve doesnt live in Cyprus. I live. I am half Greek half Cypriot and i have split my life in both countries. (last 5 years in Cyprus, i got married here). Well Cypriots are not interest about basketball at all. They only go to the basketball arenas just to fight, like hooligans. Cypriots are football and nothing else. I am basketball maniac, i am watching even collage games, (dont mention other major leagues), but i dont follow Cypriot basketball. Why? because we have 1 semi decent team by european standards and nothing else. If you take that team and put in on the Greek league will barely be on the play offs (8 spot). Talking about Cypriot basketball player? here we laugh. The best Cypriot couldnt make it even on the 2nd division in Greece.

Also just check that threat: (127362.1) And its coming from 1 of the most active Cypriot managers, educated 28 y/o.

Greek NT. They suck too. They have 1 of the largest community on bb, but they are so low. Why? because fighting each other Its there national sport. Not basketball.

Steve it was like a god gift when he came. Now we have 10 people that are actually working for the game. Even me, i am his ''student''. You cant count how many hours he spend on msn, with me and the other managers. At least i was listen to him. What about the others?

Have you seen that BAD was between inverted commas?!

Because Belgium was 10th of the world ranking and Belgium's team is not so bad... believe me.

I don't "have" any nation, anyway your deduction about Cyprus and Basketball is wrong, sorry for that. We are however speaking about BB and there's no basketball culture here... there is Browser Game culture. When I was elected in Cyprus this was Cyprus team (3079), if you compare this to Cyprus vs England and taking a look to U 21 team, you can find something different to the match I've link to you.

I don't know if we reach 2nd place, I hope, but I don't think so... anyway England could reach it, but they lose against Cyprus this time.

Steve "The bad coach" Makis :-)

for me this is not a browser game :P for me this isnt a game at all. I am a noob when it comes to Basketball. I was born and grew up in Holland but I am Austrian and proud off that too.

I work as a sports bookie and the only reason why I started playing this game is because I was covering the NBA and I didnt know much about it. Let alone Basketball in general. I have learned quite a bit from BB and now I can analyze NBA games a bit better...

Have to say that BB has taken over my life...
