I startedin season 5 and stopped playing in season 13 or 14 (I stopped playing cause I got bored with the game) and was too busy with work to play, but I started up again in season 17 as I thought maybe the game may have a few changes and it could b fun to start from scratch again. Unfortunately nothing much has changed and their is probably more bugs than when I played previously. So I have been around a while, yes their have been changes but the biggest change is communication from BB has gone to shit.

Season 19 news is up! Nothing new, but at least they know what we want and they are working on it. I hope for some new, could be also minor, features before season 20 starts!

And some people are just natural apologists who can never acknowedhe unpalatable truths. Communication from the BBs is shit currently.
Bug fix / repair the mistakes fine - that could've been posted several days ago.

BB needs a few surprises come ASW. Evolve or die.

Why do you expect that there should always be new stuff?

Because it is a business...Do you think that if the I Phone 4 and the I Phone 4S were the same that people would pay money to upgrade their phone? No..They upgrade to the 4S to get the new functions. To get the repeat customer you need new stuff. Now look at all the supporters out there whose supporter runs out. They are sitting there wondering what their money is supporting. A less buggy site is what they are going to give me in season 19...hahahahah!! That should be a given not new news. I know you are a GM and you have to stick up for this game in the forums but this game is stagnant like pond water.

I am an apologist for no one. I don't care about the communication of the BBs because for me once a season is all I have ever expected of them. This is now the 17th season I have been playing this game and they haven't missed one. I hope more people get Supporter, but I understand people have to make choices for both their online time and their financial resources. My question has always been if something upsets someone to the point of getting negative and upset, why waste the valuable time and money?
Perhaps in this 21st century culture of instant gratification and media-driven sense of entitlement your evolve or die comment will prove true enough. Evolution, however, is not a short term process historically speaking, and I have no problem supporting a steady pastime.

Comparing a digitalfieldtheory product to an apple product is like comparing Man U. to Chipping Norton Town, so nice loaded analogy there.

What do you mean by should have learned? Do you think you are among the majority of users in terms of your feelings towards this game? Yet another qualified statement about how and what will make you buy Supporter. Seriously, Wolph, who cares? Keep it to yourself. Buy it or don't but don't publicize your internal histrionic drama over whether you are gonna spend 39 bucks on an online pastime or if you won't because you refuse to be hoodwinked by some sham business that runs some ill-conceived game that you manage to spend several hours a day not enjoying.

From my fatalist point of view the news sound like this:

Only one working on this game is Marin, this somehow matches my perception of how things run in this business.

I dont know what the consultant and research positions are for... how can sb be a consultant if he is still learning? What do you research that you need two positions for?

Other BBs have abandoned the game for "real" jobs.

My conclusion:
Get a PR guy damnit!

It is comparable....Just like Apple tries to get new customers, Buzzerbeater should be doing the same thing. Improving the product that makes the cash flow. Apple, even Hattrick are doing a good job at this. Buzzerbeater...Not a good job.
But hey, That wasn't even the main point in my message. My main point is that them fixing the bugs shouldn't be new news. they shouldn't even post it as new news. It's almost sounds like they are patting themselves on the back. But in reality, that's what is expected of them. That should be the everyday stuff. Now new news would be about career stats for supporters or logo's on center court in the game engine. Fixing bugs is their job not news.
