According to the "they've been selling for 10K-60K recently" thing,

According to that... they are all within my budget as I am willing to go up to 69k.

unfortunately, everytime I do, someone still outbids me last second.

as to the older guys, or higher salaried guys. Yes, it makes more sense I am outbid on those guys, as if the dude is playing d III solidly, then surely more than just d V teams would be pursuing the guy, etc.

*edit* but alas, this belongs on a different thread.

Personally... as a newer guy... all my frustration is at the TL and how I can't get ANY of the players I want, unless I would specifically target players 35+

Maybe those players aren't the ones you are looking for.

Aim for players for your level, not the one playing in D3.

My god, he is saying a truth and is that every new manager spends the initial money in players that are not useful for them or overpriced.

Though the rookies they could buy, they are bought for 1k-2k and after sold for 50k(or more) in just less than a week.
There is a big group of managers that buys rookies for less than 10k and sells them for 50-100k or sometimes if they poped up in 1 skill for more than 100k. It's obviously that we do that(i include myself in this group did it sometimes) with the only aim that a new manager buys it because he is not used to check the TL.Even the GM's do this strategy.
