This sounds good. Though at this point we're probably already looking at having a whole coaching staff: with head coach who can affect game decisions, one or two assistants that help in training to a various degree, etc.
As a matter of principle, there is also the question of whether you want players to be actively involved with molding the coach's traits, either pre- or post-hiring, and what does that imply for the necessity and frequency of changing coaches.
