Haha I run this team like a ruthless capitalist, but it’s fitting for the social security kings to report me to the league ;)

(All kidding aside I think hiring and then firing old guys at will is an overpowered team design rule and it should probably be reined in — if not now at least when my team is a little older and on more solid financial footing ;) …)

Well you gave up 27 points (almost) unanswered ; they lost 28 games!!!

We're halfway through the interconference round and the season. Interestingly, the record between Big 8 and Great 8 is net 0. In fact, in every match day the home division went 5-3.

Southpaw army keeps standing out as the unopposed favorite.

Some buzzer-manager stats:
1. [Insert Name] has the stingiest defense so far (giving up only 77 PPG)
2. Southpaw army's offense takes the crown dropping a whopping 107.8 PPG; they also lead in net rating +19.5 (the second team is only at +11)
3. Hipster bears is the flow leader with 28.5 APG, and also with one guy in Harrell who is killing it with the assists.

A bit to my surprise, my SF Vostrovas is leading the league in scoring. I'm looking forward to the merch boost he'll bring me after the all star game.

Trying to get that auto promotion spot. And McNair coming along quite nicely.

Still got that stack of cash and keeping an eye out so don’t anybody get any ideas.

It won't come from me ... I'm here to make money. But you are kind of inviting a challenger

Haha! I mean - I don't think I'm gonna walk through here in the slightest as it is... but someone going big would make things very fun and very interesting come playoff time.

Nice call on the PtB. Looking at your pattern I was confident you’d play Look Inside and I knew I could only win by landing a double guess here AND hope you’d TIE. (I think normals before the all star break are tactically sound but in this case I’d normaled the match before and gave myself little chance, so decided against it.)

Thx. It was def on the option list. Haha.

Being the last undefeated team in II I’m eyeing that auto promotion in case something goes wonky in the playoffs. I’ll prob lean up on enthusiasm if it’s ever a close decision.

There are at this point only a couple big questions left. Who is going to avoid relegation matches altogether, and who is playing who in the relegation series.

My team flirted with absolute disaster today, in the rare away game that was also a must win we went to double OT, after playing the backups entirely too much during the regular portion of the game, and after choking away a lead at the end of the first OT. Meanwhile, Eclypze's choosing to punt a home game (for the cup?), instead of punting the away game, hands KSP an unexpected away win that is sure to make things messier. (I confess I don't totally see the logic, but if my calculations are correct it should not affect my team specifically down the stretch unless I lose my home match against KSP itself).

End of interconference round. If my count is correct, the Big 8 wins the aggregate matchup by 6 wins.

Southpaw army keeps the sweep alive without really being threatened.

The overall success of the Big 8 is that 1-6 we got some teams that are mostly really good but also on balance not competitive to win the title. It'll be a tight battle!

I do like where my magic number for home court stands. Still wouldn’t hate the auto promotion for when one of yous guy’s inevitably out tactic me in the playoffs.

I've never been in DII without playing in relegation series. If I could avoid it this time it would be a major milestone.
But I won't avoid it, lol.
