The new system looks great. I love the group demo feature - it really gives those of us who finish higher up a chance to score big in the draft. Though I have to say its pretty unfair what happened with some people getting their points reset simply because they were in the negative. I had 10 points left after the system was 'fixed' so I'm not complaining but I totally get that some others are really frustrated.

Anyhow I would just like to know two things about the system for now:
1) How exactly will bot teams pick players
2) How will inactive teams pick players (if there's a difference)

So everyone who was fast enough and know how to use print screen just get their points resetted? I would like to know how many users were refunded? I think redoing the draft would be the best solution. So with a few interview clicks I would have all the knowledge + the points resetted? Even shuffleing the draft list will give you all the info you gathered if you use the combine. Ages and heights will give you all the info you need for comparing the draft lists.
Even if there are minimal overspenders, what can you say to there leaguemates? Is it fair? Those who have used their points and found some great prospects obviously would not like the draft to be revamped. I used my points carefully, but it bothers me that my leaguemates could of been quickfingers and got all the info + points back. I had 48 points to spend (I knew the right number was 20 so I did not overspend), should I have tryed to overscout? It was a bad choise to leave the system up, when you encountered the problem you should have sayd right away that it's a test and revamp the whole draft when you got it fixed.
There is no good solution now, as you really missed out on the correct time to act. I found a few good prospects, but I'd rather give them up knowing someone could have abused the system.

It depends.

For me I used to combine because I only want to draft guards and 18 year olds.

Interviewing 3 players might turn out with players whose heights are not appropriate or are 19 would cost me 9 points alone.

It's useful to determine if you want to scout 18 only.

Also, its useful if you have a lot of scouting points and want to concentrate on players that are tall or short. I see it more useful for teams that already have trainees that they want to add to.

If you don't have many scouting points...it seems better just to review some of the top players that the scout finds.

I think the combine should be eliminated. its pointless if info is duplicated with interview

For me that is the base info and most valuable one. Then when I have the age and height of all I begin choosing who to concentrate more on.

ok now i get it..we have had 10weeks so far and 4 weeks remaining that means we will get another 4 oportunities to "buy" points. when the SPs are gonna update - monday?

I had at first 43 SP-s and did Combo and Demo scouting, nothing more was working. Since the draft did not work as intended I made my notes and print screens just in case. Too bad it turned out today I had exactly 20 points to spend and now I'm sitting on 0 SP-s and the same information available on Draft page:) Imagine my situation if I had spent 0 $ on one week instead of 10k $!? I would have the same draftees to pick, my actual 20 SP-s still available and at the same time I was able to use somebody's 20 points for free with all the information known to me! Unlucky or what?
Users are most certainly not dumb and many who could spend over their actual points have now the info on their notes and new chance to scout more interesting players. Fair? Certainly not!
