SBBL - Season 18 - The Playoff is coming...

Big 8 - Esplanade BC (seed 1) vs SingSing82 (seed 4)

Here are our new faces of this season playoff, where the strong EBC team will host their rival SingSing82 team. Led by Pablo Garcia & Dimos Tsemperlidis , EBC is looking to dominate SingSing82 again like they did in previous three meeting. With their last visit to SingSing arena with 95-64 win, should be no problem for EBC to advance to semifinal for the first time

Big 8 - Eric United (seed 2) vs Singapore Showstoppers (seed 3)

EU is back again for their attempt to secure another B3 ticket by hosting Singapore Showstoppers. As the two best offensive teams will clash up, expect high scoring game between them. Led by their unstoppable duo in Augusto Gomez & Simavi Duyu, EU are looking for their best offensive production against SS team that aren't really strong defensively.

Great 8 - Pekanbaru Jaguars (seed 1) vs Shwe Toe Ngal (seed 4)

The Jaguars will host STN for the second time, where STN still remember clearly being wiped out 74-108. This season, STN are looking to an even, as they've revamped themselves into a much more high level and even scored a B3 ticket from this season Tournament game. For the first time in six seasons, Jaguars will be participating on the playoff without their ex-MVP man Petrus Alexandarsson, who was dealt right after Jaguar lost in Tournament match. Will Arif Salim carry the load like Petrus? We'll see on this coming Tuesday.

Great 8 - Cheesecake (seed 2) vs Compassvale United (seed 3)

The Defending Champion Cheesecake will start their double-feat quest by hosting the Compassvale United. Cheesecake will have the similar squad as last season, with duo Severino Perez - Vincent Katic as their go-to guy, and Wilfred Hatterwusting & Tumay Oztogar as the hustlemen. This season saw a bit performance dropping by Cheesecake, as they've given up a cup match to lower div II SG Young Guns 87-96, and get blown out by Jaguars 89-110. As for Compassvale, they should be appeared much stronger than last season. Old faces Wang Xiangjia, Giovanni Dushku & Lin Baoxiang will be relied a lot to carry them on playoff. And their recent new guy Ljubinko Vojinovic should give them some boost on wingman position.

o_o... hopefully man... if me and eric met up, it's going to be a tough fight, and a rematch from 5 or 6 seasons ago of League Finals.

I certainly wish for a rematch.. but it will be difficult.. Even if I successfully overcome Singapore Showstoppers, EBC is very tough to beat at home this season :(
