okay. about the fouls. there were several discussions that every player has a hidden skill which influences his fouling. it's something like aggression or stupidity ;). there are players with exellent defensive skills, but they foul a lot. and on the other hand there are players with pour defense but they almost don't foul. so there is a high possibility that there is something we, the managers, don't see... a hidden skill
clutch time player: some of our german managers noticed, that at the end of the game, there is often the same player who takes the important shots. during playoffs and relegation games there are again these players which increase their points per game from e.g. 19 to 30 points per game. they stand out and take responsibility. maybe it's because of the experience, maybe it's because there is again somthing which we can't see... a hidden skill.
