Still not sure why you sold John Lehmann (12020502) Point Guard. He was your draft pick, great skills already and highly trainable. I guess his height was really bad, but he was your Aussie draft pick and would have been fantastic for your teams meachandising.

Bummer about the CT, that sucks.

His height was very annoying, and he'd had a couple of injuries and had fallen behind where I wanted him to be. I pondered keeping him for a couple more seasons to get more for him when I sold him, but I decided to cut him loose straight away and get in two new trainees.

After 3 rounds of cross-conference games the Great 8 is leading the Big 8 14-10. Predictions on the final outcome?

This is amazing to me, as far as I can see the Big 8 is much stronger, well their rosters are stronger, perhaps the great 8 are winning on the tactical front.

And Ricky I have to say what an amazing job you are doing, your first year in division III and you are doing really well. Ah, reminds me of myself, I won division IV my first season, won division III my second season and then...lets not talk about the and then shall we...

I thought it was interesting as well and definitely goes against preseason expectations. I guess the major team overhauls from the Marmots and XBB have evened the conferences out a little.

Out of interest, where are you expecting the Marmots to finish this season RabidCamel? Still looking for another awesome trainee to go with O'daire and Salambo?

And yes, obviously happy with the way my team is going after thinking I would be fighting relegation at the start of the season, Ansari and Gibert proved to be great pickups.

I think he will try to position him in 7th so he can get the best draft pick possible, then a week or so before the playoffs buy a bomb player or two with that mountain of money he is sitting on and destroy whoever is unlucky enough to oppose him.

You are, of course, 100% correct :) And that's also the reason I'm not worrying about getting a third trainee yet. I'm giving Clune one more season of training, then he'll be done, and I can get a third young guy in. I think, tactically, your side of the league is superior to ours, but we have better rosters. Which just shows that tactics > roster, as long as the roster isn't so much better that tactics become irrelevant. I will say though, after last year, I am surprised how even it is.

Yodabig, I think iamricky would be a decent pickup for the PL next season. Should do well in the second division.
