i don't think that firing good players happens a lot in BB. this would just make increased number of scrubs for 1k to play in scrimmage :) do you fire your players worth more than 50k?

how this will happen? maybe your nt coach is a mind reader like matt parkman, but our coach is just a normal person. and more important thing is that it was during offseason procedure of nts which nt coaches search for better options and evaluate players again. for example france u-21 nt picked players just 1-2 days before this week's match. most u-21 nt coach use offseasons to find better players and also to save talented draftees from inactive teams.

your and charles' ideas are just ridiculous. nt coach came here to manage nt teams and not came to survive against cheaters or other bad characters. this is a basketball manager game. our first aim is to enjoy and nt teams are an important part of this fun.

punishing users is not a real solution. because we know there are lots of multiple accounts. (also there is a discussion on this issue in a thread related farm teams). bbs are bringing tons of crappy free agents but when it comes to nt players there is no solution, ha! that's really funny.

There should be a consensus that players like that one shouldn't be able to disappear in the blink of an eye because of an ill-advised or malicious decision. Apparently, we can't even agree on that.

The admins answer is understandable, they need an easy way to deal with that, they can't go through each case one by one and it will sometimes be highly subjective. What is absolutely unthinkable is that they let themselves being dragged into NT wars. So we need a set of rules easy to understand and apply.

To all the brightest minds on BB, come out of your cave, come here, bring in your ideas.

Though easy, I don't like this system where players have to be kept in the NT roster to be protected. It leads to communities constantly watching their larger player pool in case one is on the TL and a suspiscious buyer pops up. Each national community needs White Knights who care for the national players to fight the corrupted Black Knights, hidden in the dark, trying to catch the protectors off guard and score a hit. What kind of mindset are we creating here ? Nobody wants that. This is not part of the game.
It's frustrating to have to keep in the NT roster a 'kidnapped' player with a deliberately ruined GS in fear of him being fired if released. This all leads to bitterness and resentfulness. Let's get rid of that.

Let's think hard and try to come up with better rules.

I like the idea that a player who has played for a NT is protected for some time regardless of being in the NT roster, it should be a long period, details can be discussed. The harm done is not only that players are fired but also that players are retained and have their GS ruined. We have seen such cases already and it can take out a player for a full season.

I don't think that a minimum of minutes played is necessary, appearing in a boxscore, even if not used by the coach AI should be enough to tag a player as NT material. We have reached the point where the first fully groomed players after the introduction of potentials are in their thirties. 22 to 24 yo players that are still trained cannot always compete with them for a NT regular spot but will replace them in the future, they may noy play much, they may not have the highest salaries but they are definitely NT players and should be considered so.
Taking part in a game even on the bench is enough to say they are amongst the best of their class.

This and hopefully other sensible suggestions could be discussed here to find a practical and satisfying solution to what is an unwanted, unwelcome drift.
I am quite sure BBs don't want to see this happening in their game but they need easy and, very importantly, objective rules whose fairness can't be criticised should a problem arise. And well... it's true that it's not always that easy.
